I own a landscape company and have had this wallet with the detex in my pocket for over a year and a half with 10 cards, 3 business cards, and some cash in it and it still looks and functions great to this day. Cleans up easy if necessary and works flawlessly. I would recommend this to anyone!

Looks like a great wallet. Have been looking for a slim wallet, this is a good option. A bit expensive in Canada and on amazon but will look around to see if I can find one.
I own the stealth wallet. I love this with the Tether. I now connected my keys to it. Along with a Samsung Smart Tag I never lose my keys and never forget my wallet. I am looking at the D03 because it is on sale right now for $40 at Dango
So you take the elastic strap and run it around the entire wallet. This will keep it closed. it also allows you to stuff cash inside the D03.
The leather pocksts on the outside will eventually stretch to the point where anything you put into those outer pockets will eventually fall out over time once that leather stretches by having cards placed in them - especially once the leather is soaked numberous times. I am an industrial plumber so I am constantly soaked while working, which is why leather wallets always fail on me. Nice asthetics, great that it is not made by Chicom slave labor - and very affordable, but this lacks the security I am looking for in a minimalist wallet due to those outer pockets not having positive retension.
My understanding the Pioneer you have is for holding passport and travel stuff, the money and ID and cards go inside the wallet 🤷🏻♂️
I have the blackout Dtex D03 with 6” dango lanyard. It’s my second wallet from them. And my last. The Elastic band is trash compared to my D01 dapper bifold I lost at airport.

The ridge wallet is very overrated
It shows you on that card where it says "plastic strap modes" that you can flip the strap and wrap around the whole thing so it stays closed.

The plastic is to create a window for your id. It is not a stiffiner.
PS: that vertical elastic strap looks like it might be able to wrap around the whole other side, preventing it from clamshelling open when you pull it out of pocket. Give it a shot!

I believe in the instructions it said for the strap to go around the clamshelling
I carry mine with the strap wrapped around the outside to keep it closed. Almost like a spring loaded bifold that way. Cash stays inside very well! Great product!

There is elastic strap that can secure or close the wallet in 3 ways - you haven't noticed - this is the best wallet I ever used. I used to have COWHIDE last 30 years ago which lasted years - I hope this also will last until I die.
I'm super impressed...just got another with Dtex which looks perfect for near water.
wow that's food for thought! I was looking to get the A10 series with the bi-fold addon... do you recon this D03 is a better bet?

I have this wallet. The card retention gimmick works well but it always feels like it won’t. My only real complaint is that the id window isn’t fixed and it get out of alignment all the time

How does it function with raised lettering cards? That has always been my problem with these type of wallets.

The fact is aluminum is a 3rd rate Faraday cage( rfid blocker) copper is the best , as fsr as the aluminum trap i aay 3 cards , why, you are using unembossed cards. The crad embossing will add thickness
I like their little p01 pioneer notes, but I wouldn't buy anything else they offer because I don't use card holders.
To me a wallet has to fold and be made of leather.
Not knocking these card holders or glorified money clips that are so popular these days, I just don't think of them as wallets.
I tend to like leather a lot myself as well

Having the cards all in one spot so that you have to "fan them out" as you say looks like a total pain in the ass. No thanks. I'll keep my traditional wallet where the cards are in separate pockets and visible.
$40 for every version, even the metal frame with no leather? phhhhhttt, forget that crap
