I love this movie. Mostly because I watched it with my wife. she was enthralled all the way until that instant when the vampires showed up. She jumped up said “really vampires “ and walked out. I laughed for years after that.

the band name THE LIMBS
Both this movie and The Frighteners were originally going to be Tales From The Crypt movies before becoming their own thing, and almost ironically Bordello Of Blood came out in the exact same year and it's very similar to Dusk in a lot of ways. The vampire designs were also inspired by the ones in the Tales From The Crypt episode 'Comes The Dawn'.
all 3 of those movies are great, and in my. DVD collection.

@@sani8646 The dialogue delivery and mannerisms in this film were just so unique and well-utilized, it was really a brilliant role, in my opinion.
Had a similar experience with Mike being surprised by the halfway twist with The World’s End, where a friend of mine saw no ads and knew nothing about the twist until the bathroom scene happened. He had to pause the movie to process everything.
the same thing with The World's End happened to me, i thought it was just gonna be a movie about 5 guys in a pub, and then the bathroom scene came up and I was like "holy shit"
I didn't tell my wife about World's End before we watched it, so she had a similar reaction when that scene happened.
That film was lame defo the weakest one of the Cornetto Trilogy

From Dusk Till Dawn is the best Christian movie ever imo.
Matt Berg cast away is also set on Christmas for a lot off the movie, so it's the best Christian movie.

I saw this movie because a friend recommended it in the early 2000's. He said it stars Salma Hayek as a stripper. Never told me it was a cameo and vampire movie.

My dad surprised me with this movie when I was a teenager. He didn't tell me what the movie was about, didn't let me see the box, he just put in the VHS and hit play and told me to watch. He wanted to surprise me with the sudden vampire reveal and it was an amazing memorable moment from my childhood.
I was searching the internet desperately to find the movie commentary for this and then realized wait... I own this movie on DVD... and wait... what is this "Includes Full length feature Full-Tilt Boogie"... turns out I have two things to go watch and it was sitting right behind me for a decade. Good look back on a classic guys!

a neighbor of mine recommended this movie to me, he said that it was an underrated Quentin Tarantino film. And since I was familiar with more popular ones I thought I'd give it a shot. The vampire thing completely through me and several other people off and he was just laughing his butt off at our reactions. He was even telling us to carefully focus on the movie because they were details that would become important much later on.

"Lowly dog!" - Quentin imitates Danny
Good show. The Hangman's Daughter (another sequel) is actually a really good story. it's the origin story of Salma Hayek's character and it takes place at the end of the 18th century. Also, one of the main characters is a fictionalized version of Ambrose Bierce (author of the Devil's Dictionary and one of my favorite authors of all time), so there's that.

All you guys seems so nice! It feels like listening to a really friendly-afterparty-summertime-garden-last-beer-before-bedtime-smalltalk.
There was a Harley Rock bar I use to go to here in Greece where the bartender based his style and look on Danny Trejo from this movie and they constantly played a lot of the songs from this as well. Including the famous Cheech Marin Pussy speech. So that is when I decided to finally watch this film and buy the soundtrack. Great times in my younger years with good tune, good brew and good buddies.

I remember watching the movie at my grandmas house on tv when I was like 12 or something. Didn't know what it was about so I was pretty suprised when the vampires showed up but loved it, of course!
I remember absolutely hating this movie when it came out. To me at the time it seemed like the Vampire stuff just broke a perfectly good Tarantino movie... but as time rolled on I have done a 180 and I totally love this movie.

It is great, but it's shame it had so small budget. Moment werewolf showed up destroyed movie for my. Still watch it, but can't get over how cheap they looked. Firt half of the movie was masterpiece though.

I watched this movie soon after release, so memory may fade a little bit, but even when I google it now they still remind my monsters from old movies, where you clearly see the guy in the costume and I can't help it. I admit that maybe just me. Nevertheless it's great movie and I think I will rewatch it now, after you mentioned it.

He is referring to the movie Demolition Man with Sylvester Stallone. In that movie, Stallones character is cryogenically frozen and wakes up in a future (the year 2032) where Taco Bell has won the so called franchise wars and now every restaurant is a Taco Bell.

I remember seeing this as a little kid. It freaked me out. I had a lot of nightmares because of this movie. The ending where the vampires starting killing everyone and where main characters stared turning was so freaky.
I actually prefer FDTD 3: HANGMAN'S DAUGHTER the most out of the whole series (just a GREAT Prequel, and Michael Parks' pretty much the lead character).
