Did your tire lose air over a few days, even if it's brand new? Chances are the problem is in the valve stem! Dry, cracked rubber, or corrosion in the wheel, can break the stem's air tight seal, letting air out. Watch this video where Andy shows you all about it!

If you don't have those stupid sensors in the tire you can swap the stem without pulling the tire off the rim.

I'm happy that I chose to visit the car dealer because my colleague mentioned that it was as easy as attaching a new one purchased from the automotive parts store. I might have considered taking it to a local tire repair shop, but they likely wouldn't have been aware of how to prevent any harm to the sensor.

Tip.when doing rubber tpms stems snip some cuts in the bottom of the stem.itll pop out better .i pop the sensor on before i pull it through so you dont have to worry about turning the stem after.but good video

It sucks when the valve stem core just pops off when you're driving, that happened to me 2 times on the same car last year...

I got a forcing cone which allows me to change a valve stem in under 1 minute... we have to do this regularly on tedikr wheels.

Good video, I have a problem with leaking valve stem losing about 5pounds in 10 days, (have done the soapy water test and it bubbles up if left for a while) its a tpm sensor valve and the stem has been replaced 3 times by the tyre fitter, and it's quite a pita, I'm gonna have to get it looked at again!
Have been thinking, could a tyre sealant help in this instance which I could install or would that be a waste money for this.
Am also think of replacing the whole tpm sensor along with the stem.
    Your thoughts please..

+Dave Linkson Thanks for watching! If the issue has come back multiple times then the next step might be replacing it entirely!

ISUZU, regular maintenance at Tang Park Thailand. Never any problems within 10 years, 200,000km. Except loosing some air pressure over night, sometimes, irregular, 4 wheels. Now at rainy season the tyres (new and older) get beaten hard from unexpected wide deep potholes.
