Missed you so much, and welcome back💞 I read Frankenstein in Baghdad years ago and it was stunning, I like it. Ahmed Saadawi wrote my favorite books, I like his writing style and his characters. I don’t know if there’s any of his book other than that translated to English but if there’s, then I highly recommended.

I think the best book ive read RECENTLY was SOUL OF AN OCTOPUS... sooooo good! exactly what I wanted after having read HOW TO BE A GOOD CREATURE by the same author. both books are similar in that yer following a zoobiologist career focussed around an animal... this one is all based around her work with octopus, rather than different animals for each chapter and stage of her life as it was in how to be a good creature.
SYLVIA MORENO GARCIA: I like her books, but she's like tj klune for me... I SHOULD love her books, but they're just 3-4 star at best, even tho I ALWAYS think its going to be an easy 5 star...
