11:25 so as an very old player I can tell you, that map is most likely still from the time when TM2 was running maniaplanet 3 (now since 2017 its running maniaplanet 4) and in MP3 you could still get bug CPs and bug fins from bellow (same as TMNF) because MP3 was much more similar to TMNF (really buggy dirt, edge bugs, bug CPs, bug fins, etc.) so back then you would just go on the other side of the wall and finish by hitting the bug fin. When the MP4 was introduced they removed these bugs + we got better graphics aswell. I hope that explains it.

Just use that white divider line of HUD in the middle of screen when passing checkpoint as a some sort of sight.
U gotta learn neoslides. It's not that difficult and comes in really handy. Such a good feeling that you know you can perform a trick like that whenever you want
