Guys shut up, you have no idea what Matt Farah knows about cars and the industry. So stop praising Elon for everything he says. Tesla makes a great car with the model 3. But at this point the company does not make a dime. It maybe is the future and Elon is doing a service for the public, but stop thinking like babies

@Josh L For every successful business, there has been thousands of failed ones. And that money isn't refundable. That's what is interesting about reading self-help books from successful people. They always say "take risks" and "no risk, no reward". But you are only hearing it from the victors. For every Elon Musk, there are millions whose lives were destroyed by insurmountable debt who would have a different opinion on risk. Not sure where I was going with this.
Josh L what are you talking about? When the model 3 was available to pre order, there was 200,000 pre orders done in 1 day with a deposit of $1,000. Was that a scam or do you see Tesla Model 3’s on the road everywhere now a days?
Or, every single investment that ever happened, ever. Buying anything is an investment of sorts and there are plenty of things I've spent way more than $100 on that turned out to be total junk. Hell, that's the whole business Amazon is running is selling us pure garbage we don't need. And considering that Tesla has ACTUALLY delivered on many of his wild claims (the whole robotaxi nonsense notwithstanding) I'd say he has a pretty damn good track record. And if he doesn't? Who cares? It's refundable. Which completely nullifies his whole "scam" argument.
Mechanically a cybertruck isn't that difficult with what we have now. Electric motors have more torque than gas engines. Great for a truck, and with battery technology the weight of the truck is the only problem with distance. That will change
Leonardo Domonik likewise, buddy. You haven’t shown any invalid points. Where’s the million self driving taxis? Where’s the self driving? Where’s all this shit Tesla has promised. Do they make cool cars? yeah. Did they change the game with the Model S and 3? Yeah. But this cyber truck thing is just a hype machine. $100 refundable pre order and a cult following of Tesla boot lickers of course there’s going to be a shit ton of orders. Like Matt Farah said, Elon is getting public funding for something that doesn’t even exist yet. I’d suggest you watch Doug Demuro’s videos on the cybertruck and TFL’s vidéo on why towing with an EV is really impractical.

Its not just a body they dropped on some model 3 chassis to have a demo model.... the thing has already been tested on the road and shit and has confirmed specs. Also how does he know how heavy the Tesla truck is going to be? Like yes Tesla's are heavy... yes its made of heavy duty metal... but it also doesnt have a square frame... or a big ass V8 engine. And as for the towing thing... who fucking cares.... it was just a short video showing it can tow. Its not "cheating" to show a heavier truck towing a lighter truck when you dont make any specific claims. And FYI... sorry dude... towing something uphill IS harder than towing something downhill. You obviously don't live in Texas
Tesla Model 3 orders were taken like 2 years before production started, same with the X, Y, and S. Elon said he is focusing on the Cyber Truck over the roadster.
Bulletproof glass brakes too, and you dont even need to shoot it

It’s not legal at all just because it has dealer plates and prototype license doesn’t make it real and legal lol.

fucking spot on, brilliant analogue mate. This dude thinks he's smart but can't recognise real genius.
'Don't pay for something, that isn't then handed to you'. EXACTLY. I had to learn this the hard way when I was a kid. If that person you gave the money to in advance, has some accident, or your money or trade item you gave is stolen, or a number of reasons, you're screwed. I pay you, you hand me the item. Small deposit in advance? Maybe. Otherwise, NO.

I agree. He makes good points and also bad examples. Would like to know his and Joe's opinion on Tesla in the future
Well it's already 2020 almost, where's the Roadster my guy?
@37 pirate they sold it at the advertised price for a limited time. But they did sell it. I'm still waiting for any of the mainstream car manufacturers to build any car that even remotely looks like the prototypes and designs they use to hype interest in them, and yall are worried about Tesla, who actually delivers the cars they show off??
@@stefanpetrov8 It supposed to come out in 2020. Not on the first of January. It´s like every single product that is announced for a year. They don´t talk about the first day of the year. Get a grip.

"What sucker would spend $100 on a product that can't even be delivered yet"
I don't know. Ask any successful Kickstarter ever.
@@patreekotime4578 lol you want zero risk? Innovation has a lot of risk.

Mechanically a cybertruck isn't that difficult with what we have now. Electric motors have more torque than gas engines. Great for a truck, and with battery technology the weight of the truck is the only problem with distance. That will change
That's a really big problem tho

Do they make cool cars? yeah. Did they change the game with the Model S and 3? Yeah. But this cyber truck thing is just a hype machine. $100 refundable pre order and a cult following of Tesla boot lickers of course there’s going to be a shit ton of orders. Like Matt Farah said, Elon is getting public funding for something that doesn’t even exist yet. I’d suggest you watch Doug Demuro’s videos on the cybertruck and TFL’s vidéo on why towing with an EV is really impractical.

He doesnt even make good points. "Wheres the roadster, anyone can make a concept car".... except the roadster is essentially finished. I just dont get why he's going so far out of his way to doubt something when Tesla LITERALLY proves everyone wrong every fucking time.
