Good example is Ryan Shazier, who tended to lead his tackles with his shoulders and his helmet. Not only has he injured others, but he ended his own career by leading with his helmet.

I always cringe when I see this shit. When your head bounces off the glass like that, it feels like your brain has received a really nasty electric shock. Its quite disorienting, and you lose control of some motor function and balance for a bit. As soon as you experience it, you will know immediately that you have been concussed. There is nothing else that feels remotely like that.
As much as I did not like Stevens his hits, like Troubas were usually clean against guys skating with their heads down every team could use a couple of guys like them and when they play for your team you love them.
Troubas hit was clean and they usually are he should have braced himself better because his head hit the glass but historically every tough guy I have ever seen play got their clocks cleaned at one point or another.
