Indeed, it’s vital that Jews never forget their history in order to find the fuel to keep fighting for their right to have the State of Israel. And all the newcomers, who arrived later (half or more Palestinian refugees of 1948 came to Palestine in the years 1918-1948 as a work immigrants because the Jewish settlers came and dramatically improved local economy) may resettle back in any of 22 Arab countries.

I am Lebanese I was born in Dyer YazooR Palestine, when the war broke I was three months old I’m one of four my dad took us and his handicap sister to safety in Lebanon when he went back to pick up my mother. There was nothing left of that. Town No people most of the house was down the ice factory was nearby and it was damaged my mother she hide in the water tank for 10 days fear from what happened to her neighbour, will happened to her my father came back, and found her and took her to Lebanon I am now living in Sydney Australia for the past 55 years

I am a Palestinian, I am 19 years old and my grandfather was among the people who were displaced in 1948 from a city called Safed in northern Palestine. He sat down with and told me the whole story. And I have to say, Israel is really trying its absolute best to alter the past and try to hide what it did. He had a house there where my family lived and now we have no idea what happened to it, I would assume it was demolished so some Settlers could rebuild a better house in its place.
They can never hide it, despite their best efforts. People are realizing their treacherous ways every day.

This was very painful to watch. Many Jewish people really don’t know this happened. Thank you for this. I would like to see a video in a split screen format with Jewish people telling their stories on one side and Palestinians telling their stories on the other side at same time. With some research I bet you could find stories almost identical from both groups. Seen next to each other maybe Jews and politicians like Netanyahu would realize the Palestinians are human and suffering too. The Holocaust was not the only genocidal event. All of Gaza is destroyed. The Palestinians are now forced out-again. They have lost everything-again. Thank god many Jewish people who survived Holocaust are now standing up for Palestinians. The younger Jews who like to abuse Palestinians should look into history and realize who they are mimicking. It is sickening to see young Jews have similar attitudes to others as the antisemitism that was enacted on their parents or grandparents in Germany and Eastern Europe.

I have several friends from Palestine. They are refugees in Lebanon , Jordan and Syria. And their stories are so sad too😢.

It comes from P'leshet, meaning invaders, a name given to Sea People who came from Europe Crete around 4,000 years ago. These Arab immigrants didn't even exist in the region up until the Islamic occupation in the 7th century.

Nakba, first thing I know when I was little about palestine, back in 80's. I read some of stories from actual people who experience those, very sad and understand the pain since we just become independence few decades ago. Born and grew in Indonesia, I have more balance news from both side, and most of us know what really happened.
Palestine was the first one who acknowledge Indonesian independence and chip in some money to donated to first indonesian president. One day you will be independent like before, and hopefully all of you will be happy, if not now, later in after life. One day we indonesian will be the first one to congratulate and acknowledge your freedom when you gain a full freedom for your palestinian people regardless of believes.The day wont come tomorrow, but it will eventually come. Nothing you said makes any sense at all. Palestine was a British mandate area at the time of indonesian Independence. The PLO declared palestinian independence in 1988. How exactly was a "Palestine" the first to acknowledge your independence? And what the heck do you mean by 'one day you will be independant like before'. It's never been independant. Palestine was created after the Fall of the Ottoman Empire as a British colony to honour their promise of creating a Jewish homeland. The area has been under foreign rule for millennia.

They came and then the Nabka happened 500 villages were destroyed, thousands were killed, and 780000 were displaced from their homes. This is why many knowledgeable people and scholars are saying 'Why is Palestine paying for European and Western Anti-Semitism?" Because it was a European problem instead of solving their anti-Semitism problem they just gave it to the Palestinians and ran away. Many Arab leaders disagreed with this deal of Palestine becoming a Jewish home because they were tricked. Why is it that many Eastern countries don't view Israel as a real country it was built based upon a lie and terrorism? Many people are saying Jews lived there 3000 years ago and even if that is true it still doesn't make sense because before Jews lived there there was a nation of Canaanites and Philistines (who are modern-day Palestinians was changed by Romans) according to the Bible Moses sent spies and the spies came scared saying their nation is mightier than us we will lose which there is a whole thing about Israelites breaking gods Promise that is an open fact. So the Philistines are the indigenous historically. Even if Jews had lived in Palestine for 3000 years they were kicked out by Romans "In 19 A.D., the Jews were expelled from the city, likely because of either their religious evangelism or because of the civil unrest they fostered." The Romans changed the name from Jueda back to Palestine (Philistine). And the Palestinians were converted to Islam and they were the last ones to live there for 1000 years. Now the concept of "God to us" doesn't work: because major Rabbis disagree and Jews are supposed to return to the holy land when Messiah comes. Two: It doesn't make sense logically "Let us say god told me 3000 years ago that all humans belong to me can I come and start enslaving all humans because god to me so? Hopefully, that makes sense the West is trying to make everything complex so people can just fall for their words and blindly accept it. I recommend you to read history books. In Western schools and places, history is either altered or not taught at all.

I am a 65 year old American veteran who doesn’t support the brutality and oppression by Israel on the Palestinian people. I don’t support our politicians who support Israel. I just found out my Democrat US Representative supports Israel, so I know I won’t be voting for her! That’s the fastest way to Free Palestine, by electing lawmakers that don’t support an unjust, Apartheid nation. Our current politicians need replacing. Otherwise it won’t happen.

Seing Palestine before 1948 was so developed. Im from Malaysia, 1948 we still living in huts (wooden house)and many of our grandparents couldn’t even afford a pair of slippers to school. Back then having slippers were luxury (from autobiography of 2nd Malaysian PM Tun Abdul Razak). But Palestine MasyaAllah..vibrant and peaceful and advanced. May Allah give victory to Palestine!

My grandmother was born in Indur, in a small village that doesn't exist anymore.. she left the village with her family in 1948 because they heard from the people about massacres and that the Israeli army where killing people in the near, she lived her life in Jordan.. when she was over 50, my grandfather and she were able to get a visa to visit "Is.rael".. but there was not much left. They turned the village into a cow farm.. She brought with her a rose branch and planted it in her garden.. Thank you for making this video. A lot of what has happened in Palestine in the past has gone under my radar until now unfortunately. I remember visting Jerusalem and it angering me so much seeing the IDF on the streets, at the gates of Masjid Al-Aqsa ... But being younger when a lot of the bigger conflicts happened i guess i almost felt a bit resigned to everything growing up in the post 9/11 western world and didnt look into what the world really looked like for our fellow Muslims who have lived through these conflicts. But after seeing whats happeneing now, getting a glimpse of whats happened in the past, we need to do our part for our Ummah.. may Allah grant victory to the Muslims and liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Muslim lands soon. May Allah ease the traumas each and every one of the people have suffered and grant them the highest ranks of Jannah. May Allah allow us to unite as an Ummah, strengthen us all in Iman and allow us to break away from the enemies of Islam. Ameen.
