Hi! try visiting 'Shahpur Jat' via uber/ola on the otherside of delhi it'll be more hispter and ladies will be drooling hahaha ProTip: if you are a guy don't take your girl there lol or tell her to go alone 😂.
second option is visit Sarojini nagar market it's nearer to place in this video try visiting it via Delhi Metro (like london tube but better) voila! you could make a video on Delhi's metro too it's the largest in the country 348km and increasing 👍🤪

Hi, please ask local familair to you from your hotel staff or similiar to help you in getting the Kurta. Tip divide your quest in two first focus on buying the unstitched cotton cloth only for that skip these boutique shops you visited and go to shops which sell only fabrics. secondly find a reputed tailor in the local area you are in, he'll get your measurements on the spot and give you final product in two days which you could try on and get adjustments done too if any needed.
One place which may get you these done is a local non-tourist 'Vayapar Kendra Market' in gurgaon area it's be like 20km or less from Hauz khas.
(for Kurta around 4meter or 4.5m would be enough for top plus bottom part you could choose according to length you desire and whether you want top and bottom in same color, lighter colors are more cooler but they'd get more dirty easily although white is more best, for it to be more cooler choose half sleeves or short sleeves make sure under arms are not tight keep them loose sized for the breeze to flow and less sweat, similarly you could choose collar too normal shirt like collor, small collor or rounded no collor at all, the less the collor the more sun-screen you'll be using)
Protip: use Myntra app (amazon of indian clothing you could say)and get your perfect Kurta delivered to you with everything you desire including any size replacements etc. here you'll get it in all prices (although depends on availability and seasonal listings). In local market you'll end up spending like 1200/1500 for cloth and similar for tailor yor kurta total will be around 2000 to 2500, that's why i said you could choose in app too.
Even if you are tailor made see the styles in the app especially shoulder styles, the most popular style of Kurta in delhi region is Punjabi kurta ...
see in this music video : czcams.com/video/iMdH_G4N9nY/video.html
the light the color is the more cooler temp wise it is and for style wise the darker the more badass color it is in Kurta
(tailors could be costly their price would depend on how well he work is reputed in the locality he is, not on how good he is and he will baloon the price seeing foreigner, this is where a trusted local will come handy, clearly mention to the tailor that 'keep extra cloth within stitching for adjustments if needed and for you tip is buy half a meter more cloth than needed).

Side note: As a South Africans, we are well renowned for our amazing quality tasting foods and wines. I myself have been blessed to have traveled to many countries from Brazil to Europe, to South East Asia, Middle East, China and Russia etc however as it stands…India is possibly the country where i experienced the best tasting dishes in my life (and Im a person who enjoys trying out new top end restaurants around the world etc) disclaimer though, in all my business trips to India, I’ve only been spoiled by my business colleagues as they’ve only taken me to the most exquisite venues, restaurants and palaces that’s each city has to offer. Nonetheless, my experience has put India’s food top of the list. And how can I not mention the best service in the world. One last point, contrary to what many would think, not every dish in India has got to do with curry…that stereotype is utter rubbish. They have everything you can desire and more.

If you ask me if I could save you a seat while you do something, I would do the Indian nod which would mean okay, I understand, I can do that. BTW, up-down 'Yes' is a more emphatic Yes compared to the sideways one which you should interpret more like Alright/Okay/Plausible with a bit of gray in it.

    NAMSTE 🙏
    INDIA 🇮🇳
Hello! I am from India🇮🇳 and I am proud to be Indian I speak Hindi and also proud to be Hindu and Hindustani India is known by 3 names India Bharat and Hindustan, India has saved its thousands of years of civilization here all People of religion live, we respect and protect each other's religion, our history is thousands of years old. A living example of this is the British, who ruled us for 200 years, looted us, took the gold of our country to their country and taught in their history that the people of India did atrocities on us, but the British did the atrocities on us. Rather, before the British, we were ruled by the Mughals for hundreds of years, the British went to pieces of our country, whose example is Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, this is the bitter truth, our history is more than 5000 years ago Anytime in history India did not attack another country, even today we Indians bow our heads and touch our feet. We respect our guests by leaving. Today's foreigners, we Indians see only a snake bean in the hands while we Indians have reached the moon and Mars. We are trying to discover Venus and the sun too. Today our economy is to the British. We have come back to number five in the world, today the strength of our army is after America, Russia, China, India is at number four, today doctor engineer IT sector, our ISRO has established its presence all over the worldToday we, common Indians, are ruling the whole world with the power of our mind, for example, the CEOs of many big companies like Microsoft, Google PepsiCo are Indians, America, out of every 10 doctors in Australia, we are five Indians, 40 percent scientists in NASA, America, Indians. There are countries including America, the world's biggest IT companies are run by Indians, yes, there are two types of people living in India, where there is a lot of poverty on the one hand, there is no food, clothes, houses on the people, while on the other hand there are people who live in India. Second in the world comes at number three, India's economy is the fastest growing economy in the world, now we do not take loans from the world, we give loans, our infrastructure Road Metro will be like America by 2025, today our road infrastructure is America's After it is at number two, it is the misfortune of the world, not of India, that they are not able to recognize India properly. The country which has recognized India properly, that country wants to walk and join with India, the vision of us Indians is to make India a developed nation on the completion of 100 years of independence in 2047 and we will definitely get this success. Companies want to do business in India, it is different that on one side there are slums in India and on the other hand there are skyscrapers in India, a city equipped with facilities, Akhand India was very big in which Iran Afghanistan Pakistan India Bangladesh Myanmar Bhutan Nepal and Aksai China But the British Empire and before that, the invasion shifts divided India, it is said that the language changes every 10 kilometers in India, here the official language is 25, while thousands of languages are spoken in India to a population of 135 crores. Carrying together shows our largest democracy in the world, when our country became independent from the British Empire in 1947, till now we have fought 4 wars which were imposed on us except the war of China in 1962, we have fought 3 wars with Pakistan. China won after 1962 Tried to attack us indirectly many times, but after that the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to China by giving a befitting reply, our Indian Army guards India from minus 70 degrees to 48 degrees, today our army is 22000 above sea level. Siachen Glacier is also standing 24 hours 12 months at the height of feet, Siachen Glacier is the highest battlefield in the world, where the Indian Army is occupied, it stays there day and night, I am telling you all these things because most of the western countries India consider the poor and Indians to be very poor countries, if the population of India has increased, then the area of India is also big, today our strength has become so much that even the biggest country in the world cannot talk to India with eyes today. I talk with my eyesToday our maritime border is bigger than China, it is protected by the Indian Navy, today some part of our Kashmir is illegally occupied by Pakistan, which we know as PoK, which Pakistan has fraudulently occupied, our temples, our Hindu brothers Sikh brothers are being victims of atrocities in Pakistan, they are converted, Hindu Sikh daughters are abducted and forced to accept Islam and get married. Pakistan attacks terrorism and Kashmiris in India, which is answered by Indian Army and Indian Intelligence. The agency keeps answering, Pakistan tries to harm us, but God has made the condition of its government like beggars. And democracy is a nation, it used to be a part of Pakistan, on which the Pakistani army opened fire on the general public there and the people of Bangladesh sought help from India, India attacked there in 1971 and surrendered 90,000 Pakistanis. And a nation like Bangladesh was born, today Bangladesh is even ahead of Pakistan, the currency of Pakistan is falling day by day, yes, but there are many people who are terrorists, fundamentalists and betrayers of democracy, who are taking Pakistan back hundreds of years. Look at the strength, despite being a nuclear-powered country, we never attacked any country nor showed the fear of atomic bombs. What did we not give to the world, a zero, a decimal, even we told that there is water on the moon, the British rule fired at us, hanged the innocent, we suffered so much torture, yet India is called a scary country We Indians love our country very much, we are proud to be Hindi and Hindu, I am also proud that I speak Hindi, even today in our country there is a joint family where grandparents, father-mom, son-daughter Uncle-aunty, tau-tai all live in the same familyYou will not see this in any country of the world Vasudev Kutumbakam This whole world is one family, the world's biggest religion is Sanatan Dharma, our epic Veda Purana is one of the oldest books in our Vedas Ramayana Mahabharata It is not written anywhere that We oppress someone, you read these, your soul will find peace. The Prime Minister of the country India has given 4 slogans Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Jai Anusandhan's 4 slogans are moving towards making our country a developed nation Today education given by India's university, our IIT, our IIM, our medical college benefits the whole world We all know that there was destruction in the world due to Kovid-19, then India had sent medicines to about one and a half hundred countries and also sent it to the country where people abuse us Indians, yet we have saved humanity. World's big countries sent medicines after taking care We could not make the vaccine of Kovid-19 but our country made two vaccines at the right time and our countrymen got it, but we also supplied the vaccine to about 160 countries of the world and where people could get the vaccine and people's lives. we survived todayIndians go to any corner, some of the people there insult us Indians, but they ask their government how much they helped in India in Kovid-19, whenever the world needs food grains, they go to India Let us look towards you, today the young population of India is moving towards making India a developed nation, our medical tourism is increasing, the world's big countries are coming to India today to get medical facilities for treatment in India. The medicines are number one in the whole world, the world has learned to do surgery today, we have been doing surgery for thousands of years, today India is second only to America in English speaking That India is no longer the earlier India, you come to India, we welcome you, you go to anyone's house in any corner of India, you will be welcome from the heart, Jai Bharat, Jai Hind, a common citizen of India🇮🇳 Namaste

If you guys are into movies then try a cinema in India. It is different cinematic experience than Western countries as people are crazy for movies. There are English movies there too.

Touching a cute baby's face and then kissing the fingers can be looked at as a more sanitary way of kissing the baby. In the west, certainly in the US, there is a phrase people often used in reference to babies "He/she is so cute I could just eat him/her up!" Of course no one is talking about cannibalizing babies, it is just a saying about the kid being cute. Cheeks, in the US, are often referred to as apples. Again no one is going to take a bite out of the kid's face. The Indian hand - kissing the baby's face and then transferring that kiss to your own lips can sort of mean all of that. It just boils down to expressing how cute the kid is.
The Indian nod is more of a figure 8 movement than a side to side movement, and it means all the things the western up and down head movement means: Yes, absolutely, I hear you, you are right, let's do it, Yes ma'am/sir, OK, sounds good, perfect...
Neither the Indian nor the western nod ever mean no.
Thank you for asking for correct pronunciations of names and places, and then actually listening and repeating. Far too often westerners don't take that opportunity to learn. Some of the most often mispronounced words and names names are Holi, Raj, and Taj Mahal. The T, the J in Taj, and the vowel sounds in Mahal are always mispronounced. Please listen to how the locals say it and ask them to repeat, until you actually hear it correctly pronounced. Recognize that you will tend to backslide into the more familiar to you mispronunciations.
Please remember, foreign languages have their own rules of pronunciation, they do not follow the rules of English pronunciation, so the written English forms are not usually correct. Particularly since the Indian language words written using the English/Roman alphabet were spelled out by westerners a couple of centuries ago trying to use the inadequate 26 letters of the English alphabet, which cannot do justice to the Devanagari "alphabet" which has more than double the "letters".

This gesture is not particularly reserved for children. Any elderly people who loves and care their child and grandchild or in my case to their friends , shows the gesture out of love.

15:29 Aah! That's the thing we do when we actually want to kiss someone's cheek coz we find him/her/the baby/kid very sweet and adorable...yet we don't want to invade his/her private space too much. Thus, as a compromise, we lightly touch/pinch the cheeks (with all fingers...not like real pinching with thumb and index finger) and then we assume that the 'sweetness from the cheeks' gets transfered a bit to our fingers...and then we take the fingers to our lips as if like we are indirectly tasting the sweetness of the person! 🤣 It's a sign of adoration...different from blessing which is either done by touching someone on the head/hair or by raising a hand with open palm without touching.

And other one is greeting kids because usually kids don't greet which is somewhat similar to western hugs and kisses thing like people touch each other's cheeks by cheeks and make a pout or something while hugging
