as a little girl I used to help homeless dogs dreaming that one day I would have my own. I asked my mom for my bday if I could get myself a dog she agreed I myself alone travelled to another city as a 16 year old girl. I brought a dog I was happy. then she changed her mind by pretending that someone stole a dog while she was walking it in the morning when in fact she gave it away for her friend. I am really happy for those kids that had good loving parents in these vids.

Best video I've seen in a long time. I love dogs and have had them in my life from age 4 until now, at 75. Fantastic uplifting video! ♥️

These videos are great when kids are getting the dogs. Grown ups could just go buy a dog if they wanted one.

I was glad to see someone getting a Springer Spaniel. The thin girl with the mustard-colored sweater and black hair will enjoy the closest friend she'll ever have for the next 12 to 16 years. I couldn't believe the next man that was too scared of the puppy to hold him.

I don’t understand why did they so surprised when they got dogs? 😏

Old people that can barely walk or hold things should not be given a dog as a gift. They are not able to take the dogs out when puppies need to go poddy; and the older folks may find it difficult to take care of messes that the dogs may make on carpets or floors. Older people do not have stamina at times to give the dogs the needed attention and older folks may have memory loss to make sure that the dog is fed and watered. Some of the videos concerned me because it was obvious the older people could barely walk themselves yet someone "gifted" them with a puppy. Unless the "kids" are willing to come over each day and help out their elderly parents, the elderly cannot take care of all the needs of a grown dog, let alone a small puppy that cannot take care of itself. Rather than make me happy, the videos actually left me concerned for the fate of several of the animals. If you ever "gift" an animal to someone, make sure they actually WANT an animal and are functionally able to take care of all the demanding needs of that animal or else you have put the animal in a situation where the animal may end up neglected or to suffer abuse or even death if the owner does not take care of the animal properly.

I made the mistake of getting a dog for my mother. Neither of us knew that she was deathly allergic to dogs. I spent over $1,000 only to have to rehome the dog 2 days later.

Seems like all these clips are cut short. Ruins it all.
