In high school I felt alone and strange....then I heard this song. I cried like a baby. Somebody somewhere finally understood me. I'm 46. She is still my favorite.💜

I always took the "Boy you best pray that I bleed real soon" line to mean he'd better hope and pray that she gets her period soon and isn't pregnant.
I'm not sure there is another way to take it? (I haven't gotten to their breakdown yet, if that matters)
