Have a Joyful Day Mandy
Absolutely agree on the kitchen..we also keep our home on a 10 second tidy rule…so it’ll only take 10 seconds to clean if the doorbell rings and someone shows up. As prior military family (veteran now)we had to do it alone, figure it out, etc…you have a lot of go tos and info I’m sure that’s your natural way…thanks for sharing .
Crap most days I feel like I'm flying by the seat of my pants! I plan my week out on Sunday but being I have progressive MS I never know how I'll wake up feeling so all my plans usually don't get done according to planned...but I try my darndest to still get most the week done even if not that particular day 🤷🏻♀️😂
Oh I'm absolutely there with you! Everyday is a surprise when I wake up now, and it can either be a day in the ER or I could be going on a jog in the afternoon. I literally never know. I just hope for the best, but have plans for the worst (just in case).
Always gotta get the coffee maker ready at night before the next day! 😆
We use graph paper for a checklist for my daughter. And our subjects are timed instead of by page number. Or I mark in her math book how many pages that day. The checklist has her independent things first and then the subjects I have to teach her directly. My younger kids are too young for checklists. Otherwise I might use a white board too.
We only do a 4-day school week but we don't always have the same free day each week. I prep Sunday nights. Each of my kids are color-coded and have their own set of folders. I labeled the file folders days 1-4 instead of a day of the week. It's so much easier for them to just grab the day's folder and their books. I use to prep every night and it was so tiresome. Doing it at the beginning of the week with everything already separated and written out is so much easier.
I'm 100% with a clean kitchen every night. It makes the mornings feel more "new day." Plus then it's a chore for the kids to empty the dish washer every morning 😉
110% yesss!!!
Love your shirt!
For my daughter's assignments I found a dry erase sleeve at the dollar tree. I printed out a paper that has all her subjects and every week I write what needs to be done on what day. It makes it so much easier for her.
I used to do that! I loved it. It saved a lot of paper for us.
Oh my gosh. I just found your channel and instantly felt connected. I deal with RA as well and I can relate to not feeling well and having brain fog. Hugs to you momma…you aren’t alone!
I also go to bed with a clean kitchen😉
Welcome!! RA is a new thing for me and my son was diagnosed last week with an autoimmune disease as well. It’s crazy here!
Coffee and chocolate protein powder:) I guess having a routine of doing almost the same schedule everyday makes things runs smooth because the kids get used to it and know what to expect, I know what to expect:) BTW I love your tips in all your videos:)
Love your sweater!
Prayers for a healthy 2023 ❤️ I love your tips you motivate all of us ! A clean kitchen and tidy family room is the key for a focused morning! Thanks again for being so humble and realistic- more tips please 😃
2 cups of half and half coffee ❤
Great tips. 😊
Thank you ☺️
I'm not sure why it never dawned on me to get my coffee ready the night before...🤷😂
It’s the biggest help. All I have to do is push a button in the morning. 🙌
Happy Monday! Post your best sanity-saving tip in the comments!
