Transform your iPhone into a professional-grade camera monitor and recorder with the Accsoon 4K Seemo. This versatile device uses HDMI from an external camera to provide high-quality monitoring and h.264 MP4 recording capabilities on your iPhone. For $180, it's a the nice price for filmmakers and content creators looking to enhance their monitoring setup.
    🚨 Our Findings🚨
In our tests we did discover that using the lightning cable introduced a bit of noticeable latency and the recordings would have some choppy, less than desired looking artifacts. The iPhone 15 Pro Max with the usb-c port high speeds had no problems ingesting the footage, h.264 looks great. Hopefully some updates from Accsoon will introduce other codecs that the industry prefers. We like it, 2 thumbs up 👍👍

That is AWESOME! Thanks. I've been a pro photographer over 41 years, but only in video for a little over a year. I have tried many field monitors, but never found one I loved. Thanks! I may try it with my iPhone 12, I'm sure it's not as good as the iPhone 15, but will find out.

Nice! Glad it helped out StudioAtlanta! It's a pretty cool little device, and I think there can be a happy medium using lightning port. You are able to turn down the bitrate in app, that might help as I was cranking it at the max 20mbps 🤦‍♂️. Good luck and hope you enjoy bringing back some old cameras into the mix. It has really made me want to try other old favorites that have an HDMI out. Thanks for watching and the great comment, take care✌️

You using your beats for background music on this one?
I keep old iphones and use them like ipods with wifi, until they die.

Gonna test it out today, thats an exciting use case if you have a good wifi signal. You can adjust bitrate as well which always helps in streaming world 🫠 Its a cool little device. Thanks for checking out the video!

Now it all makes more sense to me! lol
How does the iPhone Pro camera compare to the BlackMagic? Is it different tools for different jobs?
Shame you can't just connect an iPhone/iPad directly to the camera and get the video out on that, would save having an intermediate device.

Yo yo Martin! They are definitely different cams, the iPhone is so sharp and high resolution now it blows away the BMPCC. Where that little guy shines is film style looks of a 35mm camera, soft in all the right places with colors easy to correct and tweak. It was a strange little camera 10 yrs ago and it still is, but adding a large lightweight monitor to it was a game changer. That would be great if apple played nicely with everyone but at least they opened up the usb-c which granted us some access lol. Hope you are doing well over there mate and thanks for checking out the video!

ooohhh thats a good one. I never tried connecting the usb-c video out to the computer, bypassing an iPhone. It look like you can take it to an iPad where you could run zoom, let me give it a shot today and get back to you. Maybe this could be a nice little easy camera to webcam device if it works. Thanks Yohann!!

Zoom can't support RTMP so it can't live stream to Zoom.
