- In this lesson, you will learn what an event is and the concept of the probability of an event. The probability of an event is defined as the ratio of how many times the event happens divided by the total number of trials in the experiment, as the number of trials approaches infinity. Because of this, the probability of an event doesn't have a meaning for only a few trials of an experiment. For example, the probability of getting heads or tails on the flip of a fair coin is 1/2, or 50%. However, for small number of trials I may get 3 heads in a row or 3 tails in a row.

You have this amazing ability of making a complicated topic look pretty easy!!
Highly effective teaching that prepare students/learners for future challenges. Outstanding lesson. Thank you very much
Great job. Thanks for the refresher.
Brilliant!
You are honestly most amazing until today omg Thank you!!!!!
You made it simple to understand !
Thank you so much incredible teach!!!
Would you consider making a video about the concept of randomness, esp in informatics: how are random numbers generated, why are they often referred to a pseudo-random?
Very excellent Job. Thank you very much. Please how can view your class on Axioms of Probability
I gotta ask about the birthday probability, not trying to troll Jason, I LOVE your lessons and have learned SO much since I found them! So this is coming from a fan, not a troll! Wouldn't the bday odds be based off 366 days due to leap years if you had no info and not just 365? I totally get the concept and love how you teach, as I said I've learned a TON from you Jason and I thank you. Just curious about this, thanks again for all you do! :)
Excellent lesson thank you very much dear sir ❣️ good luck 🤞

All we want to know is the probability of catching a royal flush when flopping an inside draw to the ultimate nuts.
Can't say on a table but I know video poker, on a video poker machine it's roughly 40,000:1 to get a royal and just over 600,000:1 to have it dealt to you. I'd like to know table odds of it as well!
Probably i picked something.
Why I scared probability 😢😢
While I appreciate that someone may have trouble grasping the concept that a lower number means less, the amount of time you spend defining less means lower is excessive.
Pleaseee i ajsnsnaksn
Thank you
