Amazing clarity. I learned this math in the early 1980s, studying for my Land Surveyor's license. I was sitting here trying to remember the math, and it occurred to me to look on CZcams. Now I remember the unknown variables left for me in the field, by incompetent forbears, data points that were suspect just by virtue of who established them. I ended up co writing the license exam for a couple of years. I still have Hewlett-Packard RPN nightmares. So many people know how, but they don't know why. Thanks for being a great teacher. Maybe now I can penetrate my "great cloud of unknowing".
