Get your new GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini here: prf.hn/l/6qOdNVB I filmed in 5.3k 30fps. Easy to use, small and light!
How long does it take for you to upload this footage to CZcams?
Wow Rémy that front back POV from the camera is 🔥Would love to see more of that, it really gives a great perspective of your body positioning, and in particular that you seem to keep your pedals in the same flat position around every corner regardless of direction, as opposed to rotating to drop a pedal on the outside of the turn. Would love to hear more about your technique there! Thanks for posting!
On those kind of berms you dont need to rotate your foot positioning. If you’re riding the berm properly, at speed, getting perpendicular to the berm you dont need the foot/pedal clearance.
As Bear says, on a berm you should not be needing to drop a foot, that should really only be necessary on flat corners (and sometimes not even then).
really like the new camera angle, a lot of death grip :)
I love watching you ride so much! Definitely my favourite rider in terms of technique and style. Also, your bike sounds so good!!
Insane riding Remy - love the back view to see how you're handling the rig 🤘🏼🤙🏼🙏🏼
Hey Rémy Métailler! Greetings from the base of Burke Mtn in Port Coquitlam BC Canada! Ride ride ride!
I love the new angel, its really is nice to see the bike every once in a while. Just watching the video was so chill. Just hearing the bike is awesome :)
Those hubs drove me nuts
thats my favorite videos !! Remy going steezed out in bikeparks
Fun times there as always
very interesting to watch your fingers on and off the brakes,
that was awsome watching from that angle !!
Wow thats a fun trail.nice vid 🤙
The image stabilization and quality is awesome!👍
Outstanding mate, outstanding!🍻
Great video & perspective! Are you filming with a helmet mount at all with the mini, and if so where on the helmet do you mount it and what do you use for a mount?
💥 shredding
Excelent video bro 😃🔥👍🏼
10:50 - foot release from pedal and quick recovery! 👏👏🤯
Time Speciale 12!
love that 7 mesh jacket. picked up the same one last week.
I m wearing the yellow one right niw
Flying! Never noticed before how much you vary your brake grip finger on/off bar. Is that for better bar grip and avoid accidental front brake pull? 🤔🤘
I like riding death grip! It's fun. I advise you to keep the fingers on the brakes though, but death grip saves energy
love the perspective ... seeing your body position and how you move back and forth on the bike was very helpfull for a somewhat new rider like myself .. also how cold was it out there ?
5/8 degrees
@@remymetaillerraw damn lol... To cold for me 😂
thinking about picking that one up or the DJI 3
Hey Remy! Could you do a video on your gopro settings!? The colours are sick. Do you use just gopro or an editing software?
I will in the winter
Which settings are you using?
I've finally gotten my 11 mini aswell and don't really know which settings would be ideal.
Hi mate, what settings do you have🤘🏽?
très stylé !
Awesome video Remy. The Hero 11 Mini is just as good as it's big brother
And I did not even film in high bit rate!
was it windy? its seems that i can hear wind much more on gp11 mini than on gopro 8
How did you record the front back pov? 😮 amazing footage
With a sketchy pole!
@@remymetaillerraw is it sold on go pro?
Wesh qu’est-ce que t’étulise pour accrocher la gropro mini a ton casque? Peux tu mettre le lien svp

Remy: jumps massive gaps

It's hard to tell if it's me/my connection/my monitor but it looks like the video codec breaks up a little bit more than I'm used to seeing from your videos.
I've been out of the camera/video production game for a few years but I know - at least during my time - sometimes results would be better at a lower resolution with the same high bitrate video codec. A camera shooting 4k and a camera shooting 2k - when transcoded to a final delivery format - sometimes the 2k image would look better and retain more detail instead of getting blocky. We saw it a lot on high-speed details (like this stuff you're showing here) and in scenes with a lot of detail in the dark areas.
Might be worth doing a side-by-side of the new vs the previous camera!
Great riding as always, Remy!
You know it could be that I film in standard bit rate and not high. Some how did not change that... quality looks great on my computer though.
@@remymetaillerraw If it looks good when looking at the raw footage then you know it's not a camera/capture problem. It just might be in the 1080p version I'm watching or something with CZcams's compression.
At 0:38 you go into a corner and at 0:40 when you start coming out the image (on the trail and outside of the main path) is pretty pixelated and soft in my view. Also at 0:49 near the top of the screen it's pretty blocky. Those are just a couple good examples of some stuff I'm seeing all over.
If you're not seeing it in your video editing monitor then it's probably either in CZcams's compression for 1080p (I don't know what you're exporting at) or possibly in your export settings. Bring your exported video back in to your editing program and see how it looks there. If you see that stuff then you'll know it's in the export settings. If it's not there then it's a CZcams thing.
I didn't mean for this to turn into a WHOLE THING. Normally your videos look great and this one just doesn't look quite as good. The stuff you're shooting (lots of little details like leaves, light peeking through trees, details in dark spots) is a huge test for video codecs and I wanted to mention it in case there are some settings to tweak, etc..
As always your riding rips and the videos are super fun and motivating to watch!
oh Man I miss my dh bike
Great guide. I still don't have enough experience to manage it.
Which hub do you ride?
Ethirteen LG1r
What is your Hub?
E13 LG1r they have 30% of this week end
It seems the new GoPro mini distorts the image on the periphery
That is just the settings I use.
you're riding is so smooth, it lookes so easy to shred. respect your speed and skill level _0_
I gotta say I don't like the 11. I've seen others debuting it and it looks to close narrow and has a fish eye affect
You can change the settings back to the Superview and get the 5.3k still
I don't like this wide angle, definitely too much in GP11...
You can set it up linear wide superview or hyperview
Just my personal opinion, the helmet mount is very disorienting. Not pleasing at all. Love you, respect your abilities. But for some reason, for me again, it very disorienting. jm2c
How does It feel with this Tiny cam? Video shared in our #pepratimtbroma group .....thank u so much:)
