that teacher Mrs long goes to Trinity school croydon now and she coaches my team she is a great coach. She started the girls first sevens team
she got England to the World Cup Final and she's still developing rugby at the grassroots level, i love that

Loads & 99.99% of them won't have made it to a top level in football.
A kid I played rugby with at school in the mid-1990s was one of the most talented fly halves/three quarters you'll ever see. Was invited to England schoolboy trials with our teammate (eventual PRO14 captain) but didn't even bother turning up. Ended up signing forms with a Championship club and ended up a journeyman pro.
and Rugby League. If Rugby League wasn't so popular we would have a lot more Union players from Northern England. Nearly all of England's squad is from Southern England.

I didn't realise he was a converted centre! Like Tom Youngs, except Sinckler can scrummage. Most improved player of the autumn series and potentially world class. England's inner cities are full of athletic talent that rugby union has ignored for too long.

@Ghaze Its true mate my school didn't have rugby, loads of massive, quick guys would have been great.. didnt get introduced until I was 23, just wasn't any teams around. From near portsmouth.
My favourite player. On his debut I just thought damn! This dude is a beast, great scrumager, ball carrier, tackler, off loader. And utterly savage!

I was thinking the same thing.
Some kf the lads i worked with in Croydon always ask you about Rugby cos they're not enjoying the football the frustrations of not being able to express yourself through a sport but it being the only one you know.
England as a country have so much potential that hasn't been tapped into.
I can confirm this. Sinclair went to graveny secondary school and I went Bevin (nearby Burtnwood lane and graveny) but I played in the same club as him for a bit but a year under. There was sooooo much talent in my school but they just didn’t have a genuine understanding of the game or any real commitment from the schools around. If rugby is taken more seriously in south London it will be something! Loads of talent that need some guidance. The thing is most schools are not private so and they tend to focus more on football and athletics as the main sports.
Great player, huge talent. Hope he grows out of his moments of madness soon. It’s the only thing stopping him being world class.

Dan Austin genge is good, but especially for a World Cup we need experience in the pack. Mako has been on two lions tours, a World Cup and three or four premiership finals. Genge definitely in the fringes though.
