The hazard perception skills of some of these cammers is scarily bad.
I think it's why they've got cameras. They're forever finding themselves in a scrape and have decided to show how other people can't drive ...
They literally try and force a scene sometimes just to get on youtube I think
The hazard perception should just have 1 question. Is everyone else on the road a hazard. True or false
They seem to think their dashcam gives them immunity
It's the dashcam effect. Lots of cammers go out of their way to get content by putting themselves in situations. The old accelerate and beep on mini-roundabouts.
Shemy is the classic example of how not to drive and flag everybody else's mistakes. Fud
Can't stay in a lane, the pleb.
Yep, taking the roundabout at warp speed.
Warp 5.1
If you're going so fast you can't make the turn and have to cut lanes..... Maybe just maybe you're in the bad.
It was the "use your mirrors" comment at the top of that video that made me chuckle. Both of them in the wrong.
Charley P 8:30 thanks for providing us with a lesson in how not to use a roundabout plus a free refresher lesson in case we weren't paying attention.
Didn't hear an indicator. Also, the other car was already in the roundabout by the time Charley got to it.
Everybody's always going on about "Give way to the right!" while forgetting they also need to give way to vehicles already on the roundabout.
@@kiljaeden7663100%
@@kiljaeden7663the Highway Code instructs to give way to vehicles approaching from the right and only to “watch out for vehicles already on the roundabout”. In practice this effectively means what you’ve written.
@@dj_efk Mate are you blind Charley was in a different post code when that other car entered the roundabout.. Christ should I give way to someone in Scotland when I'm driving about Manchester?
@@teabagtowers3823 good luck with life.

those geese are smarter than many drivers.
Smarter than many pedestians too.
@@joncurtis199yes, we’ll add them above pedestrians and cyclists in the hierarchy in the next Highway Code
Those geese probably also know how to use a roundabout properly!
Plus they are way, way more cute 😊😊
8:30 they had entered the second roundabout before you even went over the middle of the first one Charley.
And should not have done so
@@dougaldouglas8842Why not? The other driver entered the second roundabout first…
@@dougaldouglas8842 should have indicated and been more patient, it's not a race, mate
@@davidcoulson6645 It is to some, whom we used to call Jim Serties.
@@mrfust And should not have done so as priority is to the right.
5:26 : When a car starts to drive erratically and cross into the Ashley's lane, what does Ashley do? Speed up and drive right next to the car of course! Collision risks are much more fun if they are viewed close up!
8:30 the irrational outrage and anger is astonishing here. The cammer wasn't even in the right, but literally 1 or 2 seconds of less acceleration would have removed the need for any concern or anger.
Well the stark reality is the camera car doesn't have right of way, the black car that emerged did so before the cammer got to the giveway lines.
Yeah cammer was in a different postcode when the black car crossed the give way lines! 😂
Too busy being busy
I don’t think they cared THAT much
I don’t think they cared THAT much
9:39 Imagine being able to fly but choosing to walk to your destination & hold up traffic. Geese are the ultimate troll! 😂
the famous Sowerby bridge geese , they are aways in the area.
Depends on how far you're going: Flying uses far more energy than walking, particularly at take-off. So if you're only going a short way, walking makes much more sense from an energy point of view.
@@alanclarke4646 Red kites glide over us, saw one flap its wings once.
@@andyalder7910 as I said, it's the take-off that uses most energy. Once up, a red kite, and other broad-winged birds ( buzzards, eagles etc ) can stay aloft riding thermals for little expenditure of energy for quite some time. If you're a goose ( or other waterfowl , which are relatively heavy for their wing area ), why waste energy getting up in the air if you're only going a short distance. The main exception in this case is to avoid land based predators, where survival takes priority over energy saving.
Long distance is another matter: once airborne the energy expenditure drops, and geese ( and so on ) fly in a V formation so that the trailing birds use vortices created by the lead bird to further save energy ( they regularly swap lead bird so that all get the benefit in turn ).
Those geese were clipped hence the walking. It's a shame many of these cammers are not clipped .(And WALKING.
8:30 Charley P. We all know that double roundabouts can be tricky and require a little more care, so perhaps you should slow down and appreciate that there will be other vehicles using them.
Indicators would also be useful
What were they driving? Unless the vehicle is of a size which makes it physically impossible, failure to go round the centre marking is a traffic offence.
Hmmm…Shemy @ 3:26 you don’t slow down, drift over lane markings yourself and have the cheek to moan about someone moving into your path? Yes, their driving wasn’t good but neither was yours.
Slow it down and show some restraint on the roads. They aren’t race tracks
Agree, and if a car was behind her they would have blown their horn, and rightly so. Kettle calling the pot black.
Shemy is one of those "I have priority therefore everyone else wrong" type people. Swaps lanes, speeds, drives into blind spots, then moans about others poor driving. They are just as bad as any of the other bad drivers we see.
@@Gdank72 Amen
@@dougaldouglas8842 key point here being there was no car there and thus there was no horn blown. Whereas, he was there and the black car came completely into his lane. Sure he was going a little fast, but as best as can be determined from the clip his driving didn't negatively affect anyone.
Legend has it, Dave is still sat at those red lights
They take long to change, not a reason to run them. In the first video you see at the last second another driver having to avoid the van by seemingly going onto the sidewalk.
The second case is more understandable. The other car seems to drive into a driveway.
I love how the goose's head just glides into view at 9:36 !
4:00 'slow down mate' says bloke travelling too fast for the road conditions themselves.
10:05, not even the geese honked...!
No honks given!
scary to realise that the most sensible, law abiding road users were the geese 🙈😂😂😂
Those geese probably also know how to use a roundabout properly!
Is it too much to ask for everybody to just SLOW THE FUCK DOWN on roundabouts?
Almost as easy as just looking to your right
Those geese probably know how to use a roundabout better!
What about slowing down in general?
5:41. The second worse thing to do on a slip road, Andy, is get up the a*se of the car in front that might slow down. Give yourself room to get up to speed.
And some cars may slow down to speed match as they might not have enough space to accelerate. Best not to be up their arse.
4:33 Just cycle straight into the car then Adrian, it had only pulled out about 10 seconds before you reached it anyways.
I do not know what all that was about as the driver had issues with something, being so hesitant.
pulled out half way for 10000 years before they decided to pull-away
pulled out then stopped, failed to give way to traffic on the main road
@@georgebarnes8163Plenty of warning something like that was about to happen, Adrian didn't adjust his speed at all and just went straight into it 10 seconds after it first pulled out. Every single week there's always clips of cammers trying to make it seem the other car is at fault, when really their actions were just as stupid.
@@george-pi5mo The car driver is at fault, the cyclist had priority. Car driver should have waited until the traffic on the main road had cleared the junction, just another MGIF driver.
8:33 behave yourself. That car was on the second round about before you even completed the first round about. 🤦♂️
She just wanted to get annoyed at someone, clearly
the roundabouts have a give way between them, you do one at a time. if not busy sometimes someone allow you to do both at the same time, give way to enter 1st and give way to enter the 2nd
These videos help me to try to be a better driver. I'd recommend them to all drivers, especially new drivers and learners. They do confirm my worrying observation - UK driving is getting poorer and poorer; speeding as routine, shooting Red as routine, roundabouts as acceleration slingshots (I'd never use a crossing after a roundabout nowadays!), lane changing a right not a careful manoeuvre, courtesy a failing of the ego. Worrying insight into our national.state of mind. Take care.
Or could it be that more dashcams equals more footage of the road, so more bad drivers recorded (as well as good drivers)? I guess we cannot judge the skill of UK drivers accurately from videos alone
@@Dehydratedpencil As I said though, they confirm my observations. The cams simply provide further evidence from across the UK of what I see each day in my area. Suggests it is a country wide trend.
Geese on a late night pub outing. Everybody make sure they have their I.D.
Have they been to the Puddled Duck?
2:41 probably a fellow cammer saving the footage before moving off.
100% I always end up rocking back and forth shouting "come on, you're now a hazard!" when i see those clips.
Interesting two stage brake lights, they did a great job alerting the driver behind to the BMW braking just a little bit for the hazard, and then a lot harder in order to remonstrate or think about the affront they just suffered.
it always seems to look slower on the cam than in real life but the car that the bmw almost t boned didn’t even attempt to stop at the junction so i imagine the bmw was a bit shook up😅
@@adamholmes740 Exactly - always bugs me when cammers come to a screeching halt (usually unnecessarily - slowing down would often be plenty) and then take far too long to get moving again.
Unpredictable driving is unsafe driving - being forced to brake hard for something unexpected already makes you potentially unpredictable to traffic coming up behind and sitting there parked for a half a minute is compounding the issue (get moving again and predictable ASAP!).
So was shemy even going to attempt to slow down when approaching the roundabout. Certainly needs to give his license back.
Licence...

4:39 Might want to get those brakes looked at, Adrian. You left it a bit late, then they didn't seem to do very much.
Looks like he is on a pedal bike and the car pulled out in front of him after looking like it had stopped and noticed him.

10:14 Nice one Dave. LOL
To be fair that wasn't Dave's fault. Other car was parked in a stupid place causing an obstruction, and then failed to check surroundings before pulling away into the side or back of Dave's car.

in so many compilations where mini roundabouts are featured, more often than not where the sound isn't muted, there is no distinct clicking sound from the indicator. point in case in chary p's second clip @11.08
Im scared to send my roundabout videos in - my indicators are practically silent! Dont know if its just my car or the model is designed like that.

Sammy's car is all over the road nearly ending up on a lamp post, but he still decided to upload the vid because of two red light jumpers that almost crashed into each other 😂
8:13 I swear Regency specifically looks out for the worst possible drivers to hire. They're exactly like this in York, and their vans are a mess.
Why did Adrian carry on cycling into the car? 🤣🤣
Dumb cyclists 😂
For the views
A big 'ol sense of entitlement...which overcame his common sense.
Absolutely... two ***** don't make a right. But I'm sensing you might be the **** driving the car that pulls out or at least have some suppressed sympathy for them?
Cos he's a glutton for punishment 😂
UKDC's commentary is one of the best things added to CZcams recently
The driver in the Andy H clip did what he was supposed to do. Give way!!
Give way to what? The left lane was free.
0:47 Dave is still sat at the broken temporary lights now unlike his fellow drivers
Either 1. people don't like Dave, Dave appears and everyone tries to get away. Or 2. They know Dave has a dashcam and have seen videos of bad things happening when cars have a dashcam because so many dashcam drivers seem to think the dashcam will save them instead of using common sense and braking or steering to avoid conflict.
3:18 maybe sort out your driving while you're complaining about others
The one with the geese was my favourite!
7:20 Looks like the roundabout paint has warn out & the sign from the other side had been twisted. Think this sort of situation may happen here alot, oncoming traffic think it's a straight road; traffic from our direction know its a roundabout; both believe they have priority.
True, that needs sorting out!
9:42 "No luck catching them swans then?"
It’s just the one Swan actually.
Finally I see somewhere I know all too well. That Team Valley roundabout is a ballache while the roadworks are going on.
It's a ballache anyway.
To the people submitting these clips. I hope you don't think this is a normal level of driving skill you have. Some of these clips are shocking, can't believe you are submitting them thinking you're in the right.
I think they need the attention, however presented.
Love the van has zero hesitation driving on the pavement 8:08
The geese have to be the most surreal clip 😂..pure comedy 😂
1:38 Made me question what denotes a standard roundabout in the uk? This one doesn’t have the large chevron arrows saying go left, for example.
I drive that particular roundabout a couple of times a month, and I personally consider it to be a standard roundabout, but there are a few similar roundabouts around my area anyway. I'm not 100% sure if that one is a spiral (lane layout), but the lane markings do guide the drivers to the right place (assuming the drivers pay attention to the signs at the entrances to the roundabout. I see far too many people not using them properly).
The geese clip made me chuckle 😂
I reckon the red light runners in Dave’s clips were just scared by the music playing.
0:46 It's not clear how long blue car had been waiting at the temporary red traffic lights, so were the lights stuck on red? If so, how long do you wait for?? In a recent video on CZcams, Police were held at red lights (an exit to a car park) for 5 minutes, and ended up blocking the main road and waving traffic through from the car park, so was it a case of they were stuck on red here too??
I think the sign says 5 way control which means it will take fucking ages for it to change
Remember, road-users, roundabouts are for racing!
4:51 Were 'Prestige Building Specialists Ltd' worried we might not see their branded van....?? Perhaps they were making off with their customers money, going by their recent Google reviews..... 😟
3:27 perfect driving skills and lane discipline
@9:45 Sowerby bridge Yorkshire . the Geese are famous in the town.
If a family of geese crossed the road in front of me like that, I'd sit there laughing my head off unable to drive for the next 15 minutes
1:37, seen many people not knowing how to drive, use/give right of way at a (mini) roundabout but this one goes for the special awards...
Council gets the award for omitting the blue circled arrow pointing left and chevrons from the central compact island. There's no directional signs on it at all so perhaps it's a small circular two-way road.Would like to know where it is so I can see on StreetView but too blurry to read the road sign to geolocate it.
Priority, not right of way. Two different things.
9:40 I was gonna say, what the Duck! But they were Geese 😂😂
Why do people genuinely spend 15-20 minutes removing SD card finding the “incident” and uploading the clip to the internet majority of these clips are minor inconveniences at best
don't watch it then?
Agree. Dash Cam Australia has far better content of real drama.
10:17 case in point - always check your blind spot before pulling out!

The temp traffic lights one is a bit controversial to me, because some of them remain red for way too long. There should be a rule that if yours is red for ages and you can see the other side is clear, you should be able to go
