He recalled attending President Faye’s inauguration, a testament to the democratic values both nations uphold. President Akufo-Addo expressed optimism about Faye's leadership, noting that his election had reassured many who were concerned about the democratic trajectory of the region.

I have 2 questions: 1/ Why is it that in 49 years ECOWAS has never designed and implemented any industrial project between two or more West African countries? 2/ Given this inability to promote deep regional cooperation, should we be surprised by the fact that ECOWAS is (slowly) dying?
Why not extend Nigeria's and Ghana's automotive industries to the entire West African region?
