I saw Triumph live in LaCrosse Wi, sometime in the late 1980's, and to this day, it was the BEST live performance I've ever seen! And I have the profound hearing loss to prove it!
Bravo, Rik! You are my real inspiration to learn to play my electric guitar! Please don't throw your hands! I hope that you overcome this disease. Fight the good fight, my true guitar hero!
He is still amazing after all these years. Saw him perform live with Triump a couple of times and seen him multiple times as a solo artist. One of my most memorable concerts was Rik as a solo artist at a Performing Arts theater. A very up-close-and-personal performance Always a great show, always leave with a big smile.
I didn't realize he was left-handed. It is something to be said in favor of learning musical instruments (guitar, piano, drums, etc.). It has a tendency to make a person somewhat ambidextrous. Being a right-handed guitar player, my left hand is more useful to me than most right-handed people (writing, eating, hitting a baseball).
Saw it in '85 and I still love it.🎶❤️🎸
Rik Emmett is a freaking LEGEND!!!!!

Havent got tired of watching/listening to him since i was 16 in '79. What a talent.
Canadian top. No wonder I can't perfect that lick. Bloody lefty. Fantastic all around musician and singer.
lol
The best. I was one of the college kids in the 80s learning that guitar piece. 😀
Left handed playing righty! That’s cool
Well...... I just broke 4 fingers trying to play this. It was worth the pain
Thats why the 83 US festival was so awesome...
This is one of my favorite instrumentals of all time.
So great!
Very underrated..
so good
Love ❤️

My Dad and ex gf were both left handed. They both could write their names in cursive at the same time with both hands exactly the same.
LEGEND!
