Especially simce it could already be late. Make sure loot is on the ship first

yo if jester winds up cant you just leave for like 5 seconds and he will reset it always worked for me, didnt encounter jester too many times tho so im not sure

I don't know if this is true. Was on Titan with two other people. Had a Jester at main and we left before he started cranking... We took the fire exit and the Jester popped in the building and instantly knew where we were and started tracking us even though we were nowhere near it when it popped

@@call_me_breadNuh uh, I was looting in from the fire exit and some idiot winded up the Jester at main. They didn't tell me that there was a Jester winding up and while I was looting, there was a loud rapid footstep coming towards me then caught me.

Stuns definitely affects the jester more effectively during his chase form than any other. Saw this in a radar booster showcase video and a casual playthrough video with zap guns, stunning resets its speed to minimum, meaning you can essentially stunlock it with radar booster as long as a person stays around it to make sure jester stays around booster or even outrun a jester by periodically stunning it with zap gun until you find an exit (remember, IN CHASING FORM, so you risk dying if you mess up and somehow did not reset jester's speed)
You can glitch the jester on facility maps in the big room. Just make him go on the railing part of the big room leading to a door and jump on the white box next to the railing. When the jester finishes winding he will phase though the railing and stand on the white box and he can't leave off the white box once on it

If you can afford to drop one at its feet while it's cranking it might be a good idea but there's not a lot of indoor monsters that are too useful to stun to make it worth doing that
How do you even come up with something like this? The design, the fact that the sound of the music comes from itself and how does all of that even fit into the box and why one human arm and normal human legs, how does it get that speed so many questions xD
One time, my and a few friends were being trapped by the jester, they stood on a safety shelf while i went to distract it in another room, but i somehow started circling it and evading it for around 40 seconds and they escaped. It was on the 4th of february so i think it was after the circling was patched, i tried to replicate it and i cant. (I have the clip in case anyone wants too see it)
I thought for a while Jesters got triggered early by me hitting them but I assume I’ve just hit them right as the countdown starts every time. Still, that would make the jester even more OP.

i've had teammates inside with an active jester for more than a minute before, we were on titan for all of them. Is there a range limit to where he can sense you, or did they get really lucky?
I highly doubt that the "1 max per moon" thing is true, unless it was just added in v49. I have had multiple lobbies where two jesters spawned, and even once where three did. I don't play with mods. I do see that it says that in the wiki, though, so maybe all those lobbies were still modded somehow? The wiki has been wrong before, so I'm not quite sure. Shit's crazy.

Jester is weak to radar booster flash. Place one next to him and monitor dude spams flash on the item causing the jester to have a Dramatic 2+ minute windup. Not only that but even if the jester is out the flash can reset his speed allowing a players to escape with ease.
Radar booster flash also slows down jester to it's initial speed. So if someone spams radar booster, you can easy walk from him as long as he is in flash radius.

Would be better imo if he didn't insta know where everyone is, and all else stays the same. Let him stay freaky fast and popped out until everyone leaves, but also let the crew avoid him with LOS. Would make it more fun imo. Like a phasmo hunt

Survival tip: You can spam jump to briefly delay the Jester chasing you. As long there is the 2nd player inside.

They don’t stop monsters from killing you. Only jester works this way. Thumpers, girl, spider, etc… all kill you still if you are on a railing.

Radar booster flash does affect jester for a bit of time too. Wish you covered more items.
It’s the same thing as zap gun and stun grenade. I’m not covering it because I don’t recommend its use and because it’s the same effect.
You can spam it to the extreme though.
