July 4, 2022 Saginaw Bay Walleye Fishing Report

While crawler harnesses are still working well, we are starting to see suspended fish in deeper waters 5-10 feet off the bottom. Looks like it might be time to switch from crawler harnesses to body baits to target these suspended fish.

Walleye Charter Fishing Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron

Came across from AuGres on July2. Straight off Sand Pt. in 19 to 21 feet of water. Used anti-freeze, HiC orange color and Wonder Bread crawler harnesses blades. Landed 20 fish with 5 guys on my boat in about 4 hours. Had a triple and two doubles. Many nice walleyes. Only 3 fish we had to measure. Next day only 4 walleyes and a giant sheephead.
