And funny enough B Real ends up with one of the most iconic/recognizable voices in Hip Hop and is the biggest name from Cypress Hill. Imagine if they made him a writer.
Wrote to B Real on his youtube channel years ago asking for contact information for the head of Rockstar Games. This was back when you could PM on youtube. He didn't write back. Wrote to him again several weeks later asking if he had received my message. He wrote back asking if I was asking him to connect me with them or if I was trying to connect him with them. I said the former. He never replied again, nor did I press the issue further. But still, I got a PM from B Real. True story.
He brings up an important point. I've seen a lot of rappers live and I've often been disappointed because many of them yelled madly into the microphone instead of rapping in their usual voice. It just doesn't sound like what you're used to from the recordings and destroys the live experience. The microphone and the PA are responsible for the amplification, you don't have to shout. A lot more rappers should be educated on this.

“I’ll huff-n-puff and blow ya head off!” Probably my all time favorite Cypress line.

Hahha “woww”
I saw Prophets of Rage live and was right up and B-Real ran along the barrier separating the crowd from the stage. I high fived him twice as he ran back and forth along the barrier. I never rolled a better blunt before that. He conveyed some of his powers into my body.
Every time i ever heard BReal talk i always said wow I'm i crazy or does his voice not sound the same as he does when he raps. That makes sense now. Wow! Hes really really giftet
Always been a fan of cyprus hill, and honestly when the rap group Serial Killers was formed with B-Real and Xibit I was so fucking pumped! They're FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
And funny enough B Real ends up with one of the most iconic/recognizable voices in Hip Hop and is the biggest name from Cypress Hill. Imagine if they made him a writer.
I heard him once, in an interview, credit Ad Rock from the Beastie Boys for having a big influence on his rapping voice.
True story.
B. Real’s chops have charisma; think I’ll listen to some Cypress jams right now 😎
Greatest rap group of all time and it just wouldn't be the same without B Real's wine

My mom was a student of Elizabeth Sabine. The lady did Axl Rose, Chuck Norris, Dave Mustane...
She fucked with Chuck?

I want to fuck Ch... Fight with Chuck. -Wanderlei Silva
Hate to say it but it's Chuck Norris. He may have gotten your wife too...
A lot more rappers should be educated on this.
iconic voice , legendary rhymes and sick flow
RAMM 4 LIFE
This brother is a legend !!!! He put the Mexicans on the map with his style bro ….he is one of the best stylist ever next to Mystikal , Slick Rick , Rakim and Camp lo …he bad bro
This was a solid episode FR. B-Real a real 1.
Yo this is dope and I heard about this years ago but I'm just now mentioning about it but KRS 1 in the song Breath Control was great inspiration for the way I write now. But also this was great inspiration as well years ago when I first heard Breal talk about this.
The four elements of hip hop: DJing, MCing, break dancing, and graffiti. If anyone checks out Rammellzee, they'll find there are other elements that only he has discovered. That dude is out there on the artistic pioneer front.
Great interview lol One of the most iconic voices in hip hop history. If you dont like CH you aint hip hop.
Who da fuck are you?
