I’m sure he was a demon when he needed to be

Props to your crew for being happy to see you rise instead of being jealous those are real homies
It's funny how clueless everyone is to how violent the life he lived actually was 😂
Here is something you can't understand
@@jarl-caysen “How I can just kill a man”
I don’t see how everybody don’t see that. I already knew B-Real was in the streets. He was talking gangsta shit on their albums.
cause thats how white people are. very oblvious
being from the SC when he said imperial and hoover in the 80's i was like holy shit. whether you were on the east or west of the 110 that shit was no joke
I was cranking Soul Assasins in my headphones all day the last 3 days. I'm 46. Cypress Hill came out when I was in grade 12. Solid musicians.
never seen steveo so intimidated. not as if he was weak or impressed, but he truly understands the misery of the situation and starts to feel uncomfortable. being in all this shit just hurting mainly himself is a completely different story than being actively part of gang fights. i really like this genuineness, grown men learning from their life and referring to it. big respect for the display.
Those hollow point bullets were no joke! They killed so many people, loved ones. Straight up Gang banging in the late 80's to mid 90's especially in South Central L.A. was a straight up war zone. Blessed to be alive. Much love and respect.
So funny reading this paragraph then reading your user name.
22's ain't shit though.. that's a baby gun... Only toys play with toys...
@@sjjr8787 ok Rambo. A million people in the casket from a .22
@@nathanhector1985 only a million? Lol.. I would think it would be a great deal more than that... but either way, it does not change the fact that a 22 is a baby caliber.. A girl's caliber... I know it can do damage at close range or if it happens to rattle inside you around any vital organs... It won't blow a head into pieces with one shot though... You better be praying and hoping you get lucky if you happen to be banging and only going around with a 22... Only toys play with toys...
@@sjjr8787 bro, the fact that you take any caliber lightly, and call it a "toy", shows you lack the respect for firearm's and probably basic safety practices. A .22 is indeed a lesser, or "weaker", caliber but, it is by no means a toy or "women's" caliber. Toy's don't normally kill people so easily.... FOH

I saw Cypress at Lollapalooza in 95'. Hole and Sonic Youth came on after them. Cypress Hill had the crowd pumped right before Hole came on and the energy of that show was off the chart. What a line up. Great podcast!
Yooo! So did I! Beck, Hole, Cypress, Sonic Youth ect. Great tour for sure. Cypress crushed it
93-94 Rage Against Machine opened at UNH. Then I seen them in Saugus MA. Funk Doobiest, House of Pain, then Cypress. Snuck an old cassette tape recorder in, got up close got to tag Sen's hand some dude got stabbed up near the front row Epic show though 🤘
Saw Cypress Hill with Mix Master Mike in Boca in like 2018 or 2019. They still put on one hell of a show.
Did the crowd get what they want, but then never want it again? I mean,.did they finally go on and just take everything?!
I was at Lollapalooza in 94 with B Boys and Tribe Redman was there too!! Awesome show!

TWO LEGENDS IN THE SAME RIDE!
I love B Real. Such a cool guy.
Met B a couple times back in the day at paintball events, very cool, very down to earth
Ive listened to cypress hill since i was 7 yrs old i still listen to his whole albums almost daily b real is the best rapper in my eyes his words changed my life i left drugs and started smokin weed best decision ever
Dope interview!
B-Real might be one of the smartest rappers in hip hop history. Having the mind set and focus on music enough to completely drop the gang shit in the studio. Not bringing the gang life into the music with him was absolute genius.
What are you talking about my G? Same shit with white people not listening to the lyrics of RATM lol lol Here’s some lyrics:
Comin' out the slums, it's the hoodlums!
I'm pullin' my gat out on all you bums
So bring it on when you wanna come fight this
Outlaw, kicking like Billy Ray Cypress Hill
Chill, I'll bust that grill
Grab my gat, and load up the steel …. Jajajaja Not gangsta eh?
@@thedayones4918 Not a single line you just typed mentioned anything specifically about a gang
You need to listen to more than just their weed songs mate..
They got heaps of songs that are "gangsta"
I don't thinm they ever name their actual "set"
But they throw up the "east side" (where I believe their set is located"
And throw mention "red" a lot..
So it's pretty close.....
(btw.. I am a white Australian.. But I actually listen to rap lyrics cos I locs the stories and the whole poetry of it all)
-Throw your set in the air!
-Busted in the hood
-How I Could Just Kill a Man
-I ain't going out like that (lyrics mentioned above)
-Hand on the pump
-Southland Killas
All this shit you typed is void as fuck did you NOT hear this nigga say where tf he got his name from?? B REAL “REAL BLOOD” that’s basically his rap name the fuck are you talking about? Also cube was never a gang member he never once claimed blood or crip he always claimed what ever rap group he was apart of and he waaaaay more successful musically than anybody from cypress hill and they beefed with cypress hill and destroyed them and I’m not even hating all that shit happened..
@@hautriedit9421 Saying Cube is more successful is debatable. As an actor yeah, but Cube always plays a fucking cop now (Sell Out), but musically B Real has hits outside of Cypress Hill, but you might not know that if you only listen to mainstream shit
B-Real is such a amazing artist.
B Real is a real OG Blood yet he don't ever be talking about his gang activities in his music much. Respect. Kids nowadays need to get schooled
Yeah I respect that but also he didn't fall into the gangstavrap lane. Cypress was never a gangsta rap group of they were pretty sure he would have mentioned his gang history more. And by no means am I saying cypress was sift they judt were a gangsta rap group they always had killers around
The way he spoke about his gang experience is right on. I lived that life too in a Hispanic gang. Shit was nothing nice.

I got shot by a 22 hollow in the exact same spot but my right side , and it went through my liver lung and is still inside me 2mm from my spine

Hits from the bong
Awesome dude
Yeah, people REALLY underestimate the potential power of a ricochet. 2 of my 3 times getting hit were ricochet hits, one in the cheek that I got MAD lucky with and another in the calf and thigh. Funny part is the cheek hit was a random block spray and I was the only one hit that time and it was cause the bullet hut the wall and split before bouncing back on me, and the leg shot was a random thing I had nothing to do with when a mf lit another dude up outside an after-hours club while I was OT on some business lol Me and my cousin heard the shots and started to dart across the street to his whip to get the heat and after he dropped buddy he emptied the clip on the street and a bullet hit the asphalt and busted as it bounced back up and hit me in two places, no luck at all.
I had a similar issue with my skin tone too lol I'm Sicilian and black but I mostly just look Sicilian. I rocked with a mixed but predominantly black nation in predominantly black hoods up and down the East Coast and in the Midwest some so I always had to go extra hard when I left where I grew up to prove myself yet I stood out hella obviously, even to the cops who had their own nickname for me cause of it since I'm a jit.
But it costs a lot. I was shot on 3 different occasions (2 ricochets, 1 direct hits as the intended target, the 1 would've killed me had I not been wearing this busted ass stolen NYPD vest but I still got the scar on my chest), I was slashed in the joint on 1 of my 3 jolts, spent about half my life in jails and prisons from NY to FL, got stabbed in the back (literally) in a swimming pool by a kid, been jumped and shot at more times than I can count, and most everybody I ever gave af about is dead, locked up, or strung out. I'm one of the very lucky few who managed to take a different route. I never dropped or renounced anything, just got the blessing to go another way. Most don't get that option and almost none of us chose that life, it was survival. And my story is pretty slight, I know plenty who saw a lot worse. I'm fortunate asl and recognize it every day 💯
