It's hard to tell if the opera is concert version staged or recording. It does sound as though there is a person telling the story as it goes along

Always interesting to get acquainted with such rarities. It's a pity the soprano has problems in the upper register, she should definitely have avoided inserting all these high Es and Fs because they are not great at all
