That’s a surprisingly flattering comment

Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead, and gives salvation to everyone who has faith in him. True faith in Jesus will have you bear good fruit and *drastically* change for the better! Those led by the Holy Spirit do not abide in wickedness.
*God is ONE manifesting himself as THREE;* the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Bless him! *For these three are one.*
As I am led by the Holy Spirit, nothing I state is a lie, but the truth of God. Anyone who tells you differently is misinformed or a liar. They do not know God, nor led by him.
Anyone who *claims* to be a Christian and is against what I am doing, and where I am doing it; the Holy Spirit does not dwell within them, they lack understanding. They know not God, read his word, and their religion is in vain. Do not hear them, they will mislead you, the lost cannot guide the lost.
@@MonkeyJedi99 I am a Christian, and I had to report these comments. They're cult-ish, insensitive, and awful. I would like to apologize for the fact that they used that term.
@@TotallyHuman I was going to let them go, as I usually do with silly or offensive stuff, but this account has been spamming like mad, and I finally had enough.
While I appreciate your apology, and accept it in the spirit with which it was given, I would also like to say that it is not your responsibility.

The "refund" got me first and F minus had me in tears.. 🤣🤣🤣
Dude that is hilarious never would have come up with that myself
As a musician I can guarantee you that playing an instrument in front of family is probably the most emotional damage you could EVER do to someone
ik same here cause they make me play for anyone and everyone when i have an instrument on me.
Other than playing music, they enjoy parading their kids "skills. "
Most emotional damage was asking me to do an oratorical piece in front of the family while they are having lunch 😂😂😂
I suppose that sometimes they bring that couple of family friends that have a beautiful son/daughter of your same age to double the damage!

As a veteran Asian child, I cannot count the amount of times my parents came home the moment they left.
HAHA
As a veteran Jewish child, I didn't realize I am Asian. Alternatively, I didn't realize that Steven is Jewish.
Now I understand why I like Panda E so much, 10 minutes after leaving, car door=death. Heart attack, coupled with EMOTIONAL DAMAGE. No cure, father hitting me with "what's 7x3?" at 9pm.

Steven I can't believe you just made me have a PTSD flashback. My white 80 year old Grandma did that too with the chicken, and since it's Grandma she doesn't have the energy to really get angry at you, just sighs in disappointment and so you feel 4x the Emotional Damage, because not only did you let her down but now you also don't get to have her fried chicken.

Hey man, I just discovered your videos after losing a job and they have really lifted my spirits. I have to move back in with my mom until I find a job and although I'm not Asian, I grew up in a fairly strict household and your videos are really relatable and make me laugh. Thanks for lifting my spirits and making me laugh in this hard time when I feel like a big FAAAILUWe! :)
Thank the good lord for your demanding parents, and for making you uncomfortable with living with them as an adult. You will launch and do fine!
To be honest the instrument section is pretty personal. I am not from an Asian family but my parents clearly took examples from your channel, they made me spend 9 years on violin and told me that there is no reason to do it, I just must do it. We made a deal that if I get to play violin abroad they will get me out of a violin, and so I did, but they still forced me to stay there for a whole year until they decided that I know how to play the violin well enough.
Well then your parents failed you in the explanation department. The reason is: musical retention deepens creodes of both abstract thought and extemporaneous recall as musical knowledge and memory/sagacity are inextricably linked.
-a drunk college kid at 5am
That face off at 2:00 between a scared son and a dad with a horrifyingly straight face straight up gave me PTSD. That calm before the strom used to be the scariest thing ever.
Beautiful acting in the scene specifically Steven. 👍
It's like standing in front of a firing squad.
That calm is my weapon of choice 😬
he's already getting into acting.... I couldn't imagine how hard it is acting to nothing.... your partner in acting is yourself Steven..... "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, My name is Steven with a V"

Repent to Jesus Christ

Can I just say, that the unfreezing the chicken part is very effective and relatable. My parents didn't show up early but when I would freak the hell out. I remember having to quickly unfreeze ground turkey meat and opened the package, put the meat in the bag and microwaved it. I used the excuse of "I threw a knife into the sink and it cut the package."
@@studiomez3467 my family would belt me if i ever used the defrost on the microwave. I'd just be told to fill a pot with lukewarm water and stuff the chicken in there so it would unfreeze
Just run it under hot water for a few minutes would work
HAHAHA putting it into the microwave never worked for me
My technique is that I do it the moment they close their door on their way out.
At least you don't have to have the whole meal cooked and served by the time everyone is ready to eat which could be anytime within 2 hours of the average...

Im half Asian, but my father was white and he got full custody. Somehow I still got the full asian experience, the frozen chicken, the music example happened after I learned a second instrument,
But white parents are also very strict and can cause emotional damage
@@dreamfire9661 I'm sure some of them can be, but you can definitely tell it's not the norm to beat your kids here or "abuse" them in any way. In America and Europe there are laws that protect children from that kind of thing, you touch a hair on a child's head and social services or CPS will be called so quickly, whereas Asians-well in my experience Chinese parents anyway, they whoop you and it's just part of the culture, part of raising you to be 'proper', our parents will just say "it's for your own good / it's bc we care". A very large percentage of us were raised that way and it's not really weird to most of us.
Whereas here you know it's very unheard of bc if it happens, the person is very traumatized by it and it's an extremely huge deal, and they will either be very reluctant to talk about it, or some of them will make it their whole personality (that they were abused as kids/had a fked up childhood) just to come off as unique or edgy.
It also causes fractures in their family. They will move away from their parents and cut off contact because they wonder how they could harm them as kids in such a horrible hateful way. They'll think their parents were horrible people too.
Being Chinese, like yes it's still "emotional and mental damage" lol, but like it's almost no different from like falling off a swing when you were a kid. You kind of just unconsciously accept it as normal, and yeah you joke about it like that.
