Shooting Star Well, sorry to break it, but I have basically leveled up from lvl 5 acc to lvl 19 by playing only support shaker, at SEA. Gonna love those cancer lancer pickers. But I agree, core Shaker is scary, especially against squishy glass cannons, which are SEA typical picks. You can basically blink, Enchant Totem, Fissure, hit them once, and if you're specially evil, Dagon them. And with something like Bloodthorn or Daedalus, you'll be starting any teamfight 5v4.
The Rrandomm If I have non-tier 1 carries in my game I'm miserable. Because people that plays meta heroes with a bit of complexity usually knows shit, compared to those tryhard Pudge and PA that always find some ways to kill themselves.
The Rrandomm pudge is even worse. just get some magic damage and stay back and your good. if he blinks to you, use force staff or any escape mechanism you have. I play of and I just wanted him and start spitting out my arcane orbs and ult him when he has only 1/4th HP. unlike pudge, axe doesn't scale late. that's usually a kill.i can even imprison myself. and blink. pudge has n the other hand gets even tankier as the game goes on. his hp and magic resist scale indefinitely. in low MMRand pubs, there are no supports so no early wards. if you aren't a tank or have no escape/extended non chambered cc, you are free next since you can just walk away. if you let him get too many stacks and no necro, your really up shit creek without a paddle. yes that means your paddling through the shit with your hands. also pick necrophos against axe. He's the ultimate tank killer.

Yeah I was just reflecting on recent matches yesterday and talking with other people around my skill level and I realized that I've learned a hell of a lot from BSJ.
You know what's the problems in players? They want to be a star in the game well it's just +25 mmr for the winning team they think that they would gain higher ranking in carrying the game that's what carries think
Everytime I support, my team loses. I ward properly and roam and always have TP to help my teammates and I don't steal EXP nor last hits. I meant to stack the neutrals while the carry farm on lane but the offlaner sweeps the jungle. People need to watch more videos like this...

Btw what does micro mean? For controlling the healing ward I just use the "select other units" button and the "select hero" button. I just switch between controlling the ward and controlling jug like every few seconds
i don't think having item build variations makes the hero more difficult. what u mean is having no item that can give u a huge power spike, not build variations. because i'm sure as hell that build variations can make your hero be more unpredictable.
It will make the beginners confused on what to build, also having multiple choice on different item builds is hard and confusing but I get it that it has more variations and counter to your enemy.
I usually main razor and lycan.... On razor, I literally have like 6 variation of build on him at any kind of situations situation (pushing build, carry build with 3 variations, tank build, and zoning build) but what about lycan? what tier would you put him on he's really easy, but you need to win like before 30 mins or so... (80% pushing necro build and 20% rightclick ish build)
where does specter fall in the difficulty tier list. she requires a lot of map awareness while having a semi-decent escape with the dagger. but it like she becomes nearly invincible once she gets the radiance, atleast at my 1k skill level

Hmm I aint the best MMR player, and I can understand why you would putt jugg there but isnt his item build just very diverse? You could buy anything on him couldn't you? Sange and Yasha, Manta, Maelstorm, Desolator, diffusal, mjolnir, butterfly, abysall, skadi. I've even seen people buying Echo Saber, I see why they do it, a double crit in the laning stage is devastating and some good mana regen.. Heaven's Halberd as well from dissasembling the Sange and Yasha. Even battlefury, Shadowblade, MKB,BKB, Blink, MoM and even Satanic as well. Someone correct me if im wrong
asef rahman his item build is diverse but most people just do the same thing again and again just like with anti mage instead of experimenting they just follow the mainstream build

Thanks for the advice! tho here are some other things, I have been playing dota for about 3 or 4 weeks consistently and have about 300 hours in it atm (i know, nerd blabla, I cannot work atm due to disease so i have to spend my time diffrently.)I had some previous experience with mobas (Dota all stars, Smite, and yes, even the easy mode of dota) and have seen my own carries, I play super easy stuff but still end up being around 3500 mmr after just 3 or 4 weeks grinding out Sniper Tinker and Tiny (storm spirit from time to time) I play any of these heroes in any way and even supported a few times with sniper (mostly maxing W first, than a point in q and then e) and it seems to work. but my question is, is 3500 okay or not so well after 3 weeks of play?
Jugg is very difficult. You need to always know when omnislash is off cooldown and you gotta know if you should get out when you're 1v4. I don't blame ya, it's hard.
Always thought PA with battlefury first item is a granted since dota1, same logic with AM battlefury. Just didn't occur to me why and when the sudden shift to deso first item in dota2. Maybe better kill potential, but farming curve is so limited without cleave and zero regen as well.
Becuz vlads is enough for mana regen,And Pa is the type of hero that one shots another hero,her skill is entirely temp att speed,high ass criti.so if u get bf, u have to struggle to get bf,then after that spent a long ass time in jungle then get bkb and ur damge wont be as good.Deso give better damage and minus amour,and more worth it,unless ur up against phantom lancer or terroblade,then u can consider bf
I main support but I like chaos knight. Illusion, manta, and ult is just great. Can't play him though because the person I play with mains him as well as hard carry. Wish I could play batrider though, love him.
My best hero is meepo, even though I'm not the best one it is the one who gets most of the games won for me. I got caibrated at 700 mmr and a week later I'm now 3200 since I play every day after highschool and all day on weekends, it was the thing I saw on one public match absolutely wrecking evrything if we wouldn't check for him, but he was extremely easy to kill and had poor teamfights, after a moment I decided that most of the people don't know how to use meepo properly and that if I picked up the little guys on low mmr I would probably boost up real quick and that's what happened. I have hardly around a 86% win rate with him and I'm extremely proud of it, only losing games agaisnt heroes like enigma and riki why are pretty disruptive in late game, soon my sight using a really hard hero and training with him a lot is the answer to improve your mmr, since most of them can be really powerful when used properly and easily over come "game breaking" simple heroes like pa or pudge. but what ever I'm just 3200.
Got calibrated at 3200 because all the people on the team picked carries and I picked support so my kda was really low, and I had no chance to push at all since my team mates wouldn't attend request or calls, neither team fights. (I started with winter wyvern hahaha)
Sven is probably a tier 1 carry while ck is a tier 2. Sven's survivability is not a necessity as sven is a strength hero and his tankiness helps him survive lanes. CK is actually a pretty hard hero much like terrorblade. Phantasm should be used at proper times such as winnable teamfights. Also his farming speed is pretty slow but can be a good early game laner since it could do a lot of burst damagem

just for suggestions like i was struggling in 2k for almost 3 months then I thought i would pick a hero and use it almost everygame . well it was Templar assasin cause she is really tough to kill high damage and she is flexible. also sometimes Naga but thats just to counter

if you have a radi you usually just team push as you are at your power spike for the next few minutes and can wreck enemy. Shouldnt be farming at that time.
You didn't speak about Chaos Knight, and I wonder which tier you would consider him in, also why would you advise people to play him or not. I guess he'd be considered tier 1 since he's got survivability with his high HP, ulti for purge and good movespeed (not an escape but still pretty hard to kill) ; few item variations (at least in 4k when I see players pick him) ; he's an insanely strong laner in my opinion ; he's mechanically easy to understand ; and he has really good solo kill potential as long as you consider ganking supports and using ulti for solo kill form time to time. The thing is he doesn't farm fast and isn't in the meta at all (which is sad lol).
loleurish CK is reasonably easy to play but he's not easy to master because around 60% of the hero pool counter him. He's a situational 4th or last pick hero, but a CK with no proper counter and good farm is very scary to the point you will probably lose against it.
True. He gets pwned by anti illusions heroes like Sank King, Ember, or Axe, also he gets kited quite easily because he reliez on one stun with a quite long cast animation, and is too hazardous to be reliable anyway. But if you let a CK farm until very late, few heroes can't stop him. I can only think of OD and Sven to stop him, otherwise CK can pretty much manfight any carry in the meta 1v1 (but you don't farm late game just to end up 1v1 with the ennemy carry, that'd be retarded)

I don't agree with BSJ in somethings, and this gameleap videos its his opinion, dont mean he is right all the time. Dota 2 is a game about "ADAPTING". The main problem with Dota 2 players if the fact they make and buy the wrong items for the game, mainly the carrys. No one know this game 100%, even the pros like he said 90% of times are right but they also do mistakes and thats why they loose to. In some carry heroes the build every game is almost the same 90% of times but you need to adapt your build to the game sometimes, like by a need BKB, Force, difusal or something and people dont buy it. And I need to disagree about jugg, jugg is not strong on this meta. Since the patch 7.xx came out, jugg win rate drop from positive win rate to a negative! And ursa is strong in any meta, the hero is almost in every top 10 win rates in the game in most metas, and unlike he said is very easy to kill and farm. The only thing you need is a mobility item on her, like a blink or shadow blade, something like that. And thats all.
His tier one list I only agree with Ls and slark for lower mmr jug is not suitable for the Long games due to the toxic level in Low mmr as it fall off way too much in the late game, wk farms way too slowly as he said, pa is not that great cos blaidmail lc is a thing. Luna is too fragile. In lower mmr you might as well play stuff Lik spec and troll or alch if you are a decent farmer and jus steamroller over the opp
what about CK?, what tire he's in?... he's not that hard to play, his avg gpm is 670 and xpm is 700 (well at least for me)... and i think he got potential solo kill since he got long stun,crit, and armor reduction,his illu can be use to dodge skills too (double dodge if you buy manta)... now i didn't see him in the video, but i strongly recommend him for 3K mmr or below

I see this a lot in my 2.6k games but when I try to learn from any guides, it's always a solo offlaner which gets pressured easily. Mind if you teach me how to deal this?

Just kidding. Probably just try to leach XP and hug the tower. Try not last hitting too frequently to avoid getting damaged or getting stunned perhaps even death. You can try to agro creeps to safely last hit. note: Remember getting surviving items isn't always good. Moreover, if you expect to lane with hard enemy heroes, try picking heroes that do well on lane (perhaps you know that). Another one, you can always try to push the lane then go jungle, and go back to lane. Since you mentioned that you're laning with someone, rotate is good, ask for a gank. Or you could ask your teammates to change lane to someone who can handle that lane. Remember your job as a carry early game is to survive and avoid dying. You gain gold overtime, even though you don't have that many last hits. Better safe than dying, losing gold and giving gold to the opponent isn't a good thing :) . Anyways, this is as much as I can remember when I watched on their website.

As a 5.9k carry player, i completely disagree with some of your tier 2 and tier 3 choices BSJ. Please explain otherwise. Razor - Should be tier 2 or 1.5, I don''t see how razor is a tier 3 with difficulty. He has a very strong laning phase with link, he has very high hp for an agility hero and naturally builds very tanky, very fast ms and has a moderate wave clear ability. What to do in teamfight? You just link one of their carries. How is this hard? Razor is generally not focused first in teamfight, so you wont die straight away which makes the difficulty easier... His item builds do vary but it doesnt change his core competencies of being "fairly tanky, stealing dps e.t.c". Morphling - (Hard for low mmr players I would agree), and maybe even for the lower 4k i do agree, he would be difficult but for 4.5k+, you have invulnerability with q... good survivability with morph, and you can easily split push with ulti and linkens... you have 2 escape mekanisms and can bait out abilities with morph... You also have easy one shot kill potential when u get eblade... Terrorblade on the other hand i would put in the highest tiers of difficulty to play well... I would even say it is more difficult than naga to play as naga has only one main purpose. split push. Whereas, tb you need to know when it is best to farm, when to fight. Furthermore at the higher level, to play it effectively, you need to micromanage your illusions to cs in lane which is difficult, use illusions to stack camps to increase farm speed which only is seen in 5k+ games. Furthermore, timing when to use your meta is also important, as you have lower move speed in meta (i.e. walking close to enemy to use meta to get in more attacks) while at the same time knowing your limits. Weak laning phase and lowest hp base makes it easily to be countered by magic damage heroes , i.e. Sandking, zeus e.g. Furthermore, terrorblade is innately always focused first by the enemy due to his carry potential which makes his positioning vital. Knowing what to sunder and when to sunder due to many enemy teams building linkens naturally can be the deciding factor between winning and losing teamfights alot too...
i was a 500mmr player and usually i play Dota for the fun of it.Not to gain mmr and recently i suddenly got the urge to reach divine and i used sven .In lower,Mmr trust me sven with silver edge,Double hit item and the critical item will make you invincible.Just pick off non tanky heros and stun and kill them.Then bkb and ez gamr played 20 games with sven wom 19 lost 1.Sven is just too op.Within the 20 games 3 rampage and idk how many ultras and triples.Highest dmg reached 2.5k without dounle DMG and it one shot most of the enemy.
For me i like using Phantom lancer,i farm fast with lancer ez to kill in lane,i prefer offlane solo too to get more lvls and get a good advantage,pl hits hard early too.Q is super strong.W for escape and 3rd to fk them up,except theres so much counters to Pl.but if u avoid it alittle and play him well,u can just fk all the counters
John Smith as a Troll main I have to say... he only has 2 out of the 7 criteria. 0 esc/sur, he has variations, his solo kill potential is hit or miss with the bash mechanic. Lane strength is moderate, Team fighting is an excel, and farming is low without battle Fury but fervor really does help in the squishier camps. Much like Clinkz an Husksar... Troll does not depend on what time in the game you play him but the objective and timing of yoie team, as well as the composition. As for meta... Troll has been getting only nerfs so he's rather weak in the whole power play with his lowered toggle stats, agl gain, slightly lowered range -and in general lower range than other ranged hero's - and attack switch speed. He's definitely a Tier Three as you are going to rely on your luck for bash holding an enemy in stun for a finish if you don't have your build up yet or the team backing you. Basically like fervor your abilities and win depend on you being focused and your timing.
Tru Desu hard carry = weak early strong later => item dependent heroes but when they get these items they are better than non hard carries ex: ursa at lvl 7 vs am at lvl 7 will tear him in seconds but later when AM gets items he will just pop manta and stun him and ursa will die because am has double his net worth
I am a quite ok support / offlane player, but for me every carry / jungler is essentially infinite tier of difficulty :D Last time I played carry, I warned my team: "please, I can't carry for shit ! Let me swap !". They said no. They regretted their decision ^^'

i play 1k and uses morph to go up so much by using the 1k ignorance as advantage. morph is not a common hero at 1k

Whenever I support, I pick pudge. When i roam i always try to gain map control by wards. I always communicate and be active in map.
Chaos Knight is my favorite hard carry, Phantom Assassin can't do any shit on phantasm, even they have Battle furry.

where does specter fall in the difficulty tier list. she requires a lot of map awareness while having a semi-decent escape with the dagger. but it like she becomes nearly invincible once she gets the radiance, atleast at my 1k skill level

Hmm I aint the best MMR player, and I can understand why you would putt jugg there but isnt his item build just very diverse? You could buy anything on him couldn't you? Sange and Yasha, Manta, Maelstorm, Desolator, diffusal, mjolnir, butterfly, abysall, skadi. I've even seen people buying Echo Saber, I see why they do it, a double crit in the laning stage is devastating and some good mana regen.. Heaven's Halberd as well from dissasembling the Sange and Yasha. Even battlefury, Shadowblade, MKB,BKB, Blink, MoM and even Satanic as well. Someone correct me if im wrong

tho here are some other things, I have been playing dota for about 3 or 4 weeks consistently and have about 300 hours in it atm (i know, nerd blabla, I cannot work atm due to disease so i have to spend my time diffrently.)I had some previous experience with mobas (Dota all stars, Smite, and yes, even the easy mode of dota) and have seen my own carries, I play super easy stuff but still end up being around 3500 mmr after just 3 or 4 weeks grinding out Sniper Tinker and Tiny (storm spirit from time to time) I play any of these heroes in any way and even supported a few times with sniper (mostly maxing W first, than a point in q and then e) and it seems to work.
but my question is, is 3500 okay or not so well after 3 weeks of play?

Jugg is very difficult. You need to always know when omnislash is off cooldown and you gotta know if you should get out when you're 1v4. I don't blame ya, it's hard.

Always thought PA with battlefury first item is a granted since dota1, same logic with AM battlefury. Just didn't occur to me why and when the sudden shift to deso first item in dota2. Maybe better kill potential, but farming curve is so limited without cleave and zero regen as well.
Becuz vlads is enough for mana regen,And Pa is the type of hero that one shots another hero,her skill is entirely temp att speed,high ass criti.so if u get bf, u have to struggle to get bf,then after that spent a long ass time in jungle then get bkb and ur damge wont be as good.Deso give better damage and minus amour,and more worth it,unless ur up against phantom lancer or terroblade,then u can consider bf

I main support but I like chaos knight. Illusion, manta, and ult is just great. Can't play him though because the person I play with mains him as well as hard carry. Wish I could play batrider though, love him.

My best hero is meepo, even though I'm not the best one it is the one who gets most of the games won for me. I got caibrated at 700 mmr and a week later I'm now 3200 since I play every day after highschool and all day on weekends, it was the thing I saw on one public match absolutely wrecking evrything if we wouldn't check for him, but he was extremely easy to kill and had poor teamfights, after a moment I decided that most of the people don't know how to use meepo properly and that if I picked up the little guys on low mmr I would probably boost up real quick and that's what happened. I have hardly around a 86% win rate with him and I'm extremely proud of it, only losing games agaisnt heroes like enigma and riki why are pretty disruptive in late game, soon my sight using a really hard hero and training with him a lot is the answer to improve your mmr, since most of them can be really powerful when used properly and easily over come "game breaking" simple heroes like pa or pudge. but what ever I'm just 3200.
Got calibrated at 3200 because all the people on the team picked carries and I picked support so my kda was really low, and I had no chance to push at all since my team mates wouldn't attend request or calls, neither team fights.
(I started with winter wyvern hahaha)
And there is chaos knight who fucks up every single one on this list with just a fine play.

Sven is probably a tier 1 carry while ck is a tier 2. Sven's survivability is not a necessity as sven is a strength hero and his tankiness helps him survive lanes. CK is actually a pretty hard hero much like terrorblade. Phantasm should be used at proper times such as winnable teamfights. Also his farming speed is pretty slow but can be a good early game laner since it could do a lot of burst damagem

Wraith King farm is actually very fast, because of big crit on creeps and life steal. Not to mention that he is a Mjolnir or Radiance carrier.
if you have a radi you usually just team push as you are at your power spike for the next few minutes and can wreck enemy. Shouldnt be farming at that time.

You didn't speak about Chaos Knight, and I wonder which tier you would consider him in, also why would you advise people to play him or not. I guess he'd be considered tier 1 since he's got survivability with his high HP, ulti for purge and good movespeed (not an escape but still pretty hard to kill) ; few item variations (at least in 4k when I see players pick him) ; he's an insanely strong laner in my opinion ; he's mechanically easy to understand ; and he has really good solo kill potential as long as you consider ganking supports and using ulti for solo kill form time to time. The thing is he doesn't farm fast and isn't in the meta at all (which is sad lol).
loleurish CK is reasonably easy to play but he's not easy to master because around 60% of the hero pool counter him. He's a situational 4th or last pick hero, but a CK with no proper counter and good farm is very scary to the point you will probably lose against it.
True. He gets pwned by anti illusions heroes like Sank King, Ember, or Axe, also he gets kited quite easily because he reliez on one stun with a quite long cast animation, and is too hazardous to be reliable anyway. But if you let a CK farm until very late, few heroes can't stop him. I can only think of OD and Sven to stop him, otherwise CK can pretty much manfight any carry in the meta 1v1 (but you don't farm late game just to end up 1v1 with the ennemy carry, that'd be retarded)

I don't agree with BSJ in somethings, and this gameleap videos its his opinion, dont mean he is right all the time. Dota 2 is a game about "ADAPTING". The main problem with Dota 2 players if the fact they make and buy the wrong items for the game, mainly the carrys. No one know this game 100%, even the pros like he said 90% of times are right but they also do mistakes and thats why they loose to. In some carry heroes the build every game is almost the same 90% of times but you need to adapt your build to the game sometimes, like by a need BKB, Force, difusal or something and people dont buy it. And I need to disagree about jugg, jugg is not strong on this meta. Since the patch 7.xx came out, jugg win rate drop from positive win rate to a negative! And ursa is strong in any meta, the hero is almost in every top 10 win rates in the game in most metas, and unlike he said is very easy to kill and farm. The only thing you need is a mobility item on her, like a blink or shadow blade, something like that. And thats all.
His tier one list I only agree with Ls and slark for lower mmr jug is not suitable for the Long games due to the toxic level in Low mmr as it fall off way too much in the late game, wk farms way too slowly as he said, pa is not that great cos blaidmail lc is a thing. Luna is too fragile. In lower mmr you might as well play stuff Lik spec and troll or alch if you are a decent farmer and jus steamroller over the opp
what about CK?, what tire he's in?... he's not that hard to play, his avg gpm is 670 and xpm is 700 (well at least for me)... and i think he got potential solo kill since he got long stun,crit, and armor reduction,his illu can be use to dodge skills too (double dodge if you buy manta)... now i didn't see him in the video, but i strongly recommend him for 3K mmr or below

well if that CK was me, then I would've known what to do.... it's simple, just get an abyssal blade and don't try to ult till you cast sleight of fist, then fuck you with a longer stun.... P.S 2 manta illusions are more than enough to kill you
I almost never play carry, just doing the job farming the jungle with my support or harassing the offlane with a strength hero. but sometimes, I do dream of being rich and powerful and being the "carry"

Hey BSJ, not sure if anyone else has mentioned it, or you already have a video on Gameleap, but as a carry player, how would you deal with a dual offlane in the early game, when it is just you and a support? I see this a lot in my 2.6k games but when I try to learn from any guides, it's always a solo offlaner which gets pressured easily. Mind if you teach me how to deal this?

Just kidding. Probably just try to leach XP and hug the tower. Try not last hitting too frequently to avoid getting damaged or getting stunned perhaps even death. You can try to agro creeps to safely last hit. note: Remember getting surviving items isn't always good. Moreover, if you expect to lane with hard enemy heroes, try picking heroes that do well on lane (perhaps you know that). Another one, you can always try to push the lane then go jungle, and go back to lane. Since you mentioned that you're laning with someone, rotate is good, ask for a gank. Or you could ask your teammates to change lane to someone who can handle that lane. Remember your job as a carry early game is to survive and avoid dying. You gain gold overtime, even though you don't have that many last hits. Better safe than dying, losing gold and giving gold to the opponent isn't a good thing :) . Anyways, this is as much as I can remember when I watched on their website.

Tip for lower mmr, just spam legion with a shadow blade. They never have anyway to detect you or anything like that.

As a 5.9k carry player, i completely disagree with some of your tier 2 and tier 3 choices BSJ.
Please explain otherwise.
Razor - Should be tier 2 or 1.5, I don''t see how razor is a tier 3 with difficulty. He has a very strong laning phase with link, he has very high hp for an agility hero and naturally builds very tanky, very fast ms and has a moderate wave clear ability. What to do in teamfight? You just link one of their carries. How is this hard? Razor is generally not focused first in teamfight, so you wont die straight away which makes the difficulty easier... His item builds do vary but it doesnt change his core competencies of being "fairly tanky, stealing dps e.t.c".
Morphling - (Hard for low mmr players I would agree), and maybe even for the lower 4k i do agree, he would be difficult but for 4.5k+, you have invulnerability with q... good survivability with morph, and you can easily split push with ulti and linkens... you have 2 escape mekanisms and can bait out abilities with morph... You also have easy one shot kill potential when u get eblade...
Terrorblade on the other hand i would put in the highest tiers of difficulty to play well... I would even say it is more difficult than naga to play as naga has only one main purpose. split push. Whereas, tb you need to know when it is best to farm, when to fight. Furthermore at the higher level, to play it effectively, you need to micromanage your illusions to cs in lane which is difficult, use illusions to stack camps to increase farm speed which only is seen in 5k+ games. Furthermore, timing when to use your meta is also important, as you have lower move speed in meta (i.e. walking close to enemy to use meta to get in more attacks) while at the same time knowing your limits.
Weak laning phase and lowest hp base makes it easily to be countered by magic damage heroes , i.e. Sandking, zeus e.g. Furthermore, terrorblade is innately always focused first by the enemy due to his carry potential which makes his positioning vital. Knowing what to sunder and when to sunder due to many enemy teams building linkens naturally can be the deciding factor between winning and losing teamfights alot too...

i was a 500mmr player and usually i play Dota for the fun of it.Not to gain mmr and recently i suddenly got the urge to reach divine and i used sven .In lower,Mmr trust me sven with silver edge,Double hit item and the critical item will make you invincible.Just pick off non tanky heros and stun and kill them.Then bkb and ez gamr played 20 games with sven wom 19 lost 1.Sven is just too op.Within the 20 games 3 rampage and idk how many ultras and triples.Highest dmg reached 2.5k without dounle DMG and it one shot most of the enemy.

For me i like using Phantom lancer,i farm fast with lancer ez to kill in lane,i prefer offlane solo too to get more lvls and get a good advantage,pl hits hard early too.Q is super strong.W for escape and 3rd to fk them up,except theres so much counters to Pl.but if u avoid it alittle and play him well,u can just fk all the counters

My guess is BSJ would put Troll in Tier 2 after thinking about Troll with the given critera in the video.
John Smith as a Troll main I have to say... he only has 2 out of the 7 criteria. 0 esc/sur, he has variations, his solo kill potential is hit or miss with the bash mechanic. Lane strength is moderate, Team fighting is an excel, and farming is low without battle Fury but fervor really does help in the squishier camps. Much like Clinkz an Husksar... Troll does not depend on what time in the game you play him but the objective and timing of yoie team, as well as the composition. As for meta... Troll has been getting only nerfs so he's rather weak in the whole power play with his lowered toggle stats, agl gain, slightly lowered range -and in general lower range than other ranged hero's - and attack switch speed. He's definitely a Tier Three as you are going to rely on your luck for bash holding an enemy in stun for a finish if you don't have your build up yet or the team backing you.
Basically like fervor your abilities and win depend on you being focused and your timing.

Tru Desu hard carry = weak early strong later => item dependent heroes but when they get these items they are better than non hard carries ex: ursa at lvl 7 vs am at lvl 7 will tear him in seconds but later when AM gets items he will just pop manta and stun him and ursa will die because am has double his net worth
