Awesome stuff, sir! I hope mine comes out half as cool. I have been messing with the concept almost two years without taking the time to assemble it. I have an Artifact kit from 2 years ago, and some Aussie Turf Springs. But mine will be in an XZEUS2 shell. I also plan on doing a Jet Omni kit inside of a Longshot as a lower fps LS option.

I really like that front part of the barrel etc. Mine has a deploy stock and I currently use the Nerf flash suppressor thingy. Same pump grip. Needs a bit more tuning as well but works a treat. Can't wait to try it at AW.
If you are going to upgrade the spring, you’ll probably need to extend the barrel because the one that comes with the kit is too short to handle anything more than like a 10 kg spring. I know that monkeemods has started to sell longer barrels for the Worker/arftict half dart-kits and those and they can probably handle the 18,5 kg turf spring if you wanna use that.
Make sure to buy a spring that isnt worker, their longshot springs are MUCH weaker than most brands and turf is by far the best. Also with a higher springload a longer barrel would be needed.
That's amazing. I just acquired my first longshot recently at Goodwill and I want to get those parts for it so I can have an up-to-par longshot. Keep up the great work Captain!

Hey cap I have a idea nerf could use for a 300 dollar rival blaster considering they continue there OP rival guns it could be a 300 round full auto hopper fed fly wheeler with the same rate of fire as the Prometheus and the same rechargeable battery and could be a double barrel that's meant to be planted up so basically it's a rival version of the rhino fire and they should name it Hercules

Can you do a monday mod tips for making a masterkey with a Magnus? I also had an idea to use a thunderblast as a modular underbarrel launcher since it is supposedly more powerful than the demolisher's launcher. Also cool Longshot Battle rifle.
That is not a Mod Tip. That is a build guide. And it really is just: Cut off handle, cut down the slide, attach to barrel. Same for the Thunderblast. Cut off the handle and stock, attach to barrel.
And I thought the longshot shell could never look good,

A few questions about a mod project of mine:
What needs to be done to make a Longshot capable of high spring loads?
How much can a Longshot be minimised?
Is there anything with a Retaliator form factor that is K26-able?
At the very least you need a metal catch plate. If you go high enough you will need a pump kit of some kind and a metal boltsled. for insanely high spring loads there are parts of the shell that need reinforcement.
You can remove the stock and a good portion of the barrel. Also the top rail and bipod.
And yes, the BuzzBee Champion and the BuzzBee Reaper both can take k26.

Just got a longshot myself, my first ever, so I'm thinking of k26ing it and that's it. I can't afford a pump kit, or any of the other nice kits, any suggestions?
Without addition parts you won't be able to k26 it. K26 is too heavy for stock internals.

I love the design of the ZS Longshot, but why did they have to remove the only comfortable spot for your hand on the blaster? And why give a sniper rifle a twelve rounder and the lever action a six mag?

Most springs people use for serious Longshot builds are actually heavier than k26.

What printer do you have?
I've never seen the point of turning a bolt action sniper rifle into a pump action gun, just never made sense to me even looks wise. If I ever get a longshot and upgrade it I won't be turning it pump action.
Then you won't be able to use a very heavy spring. Or you will have to prime it very awkwardly with both hands on either side of the blaster. The pump grip is not just for looks. It provides even pressure on both sides of the boltsled. Uneven pressure can jam or break the sled.
Can you make a tri beak shotgun shell loading.
Probably...I mean...we have made spaceships and self-driving cars...so I can't imagine why a Nerf blaster that does what other Nerf blasters can do would be impossible... ;)

The bolt for the sealed breach won't allow full darts to feed.
