- In this video I will show how to fix a key FOB for a 2007 Chrysler 300C. If the remote functions on your key no longer work this could be your problem.The fix is pretty simple if you have a soldering iron and are a little bit handy. This might work for other keys of a similar design too.
Very nice repair. We just bought a 2007 300C from a less-than-honest car dealer. One of the keys was bent and wouldn't start the car at all. I've been putting the car back together and will add this to my to-do list! Thank you and best wishes from Ireland!
Congrats on the purchase and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. It is still looking as good as it did in that video. I am currently overhauling the suspension but other than that the car is solid. The 5.7 engine is a beast and one of the best engines I have ever owned or worked on. A very underrated car IMO. I will have mine forever !!

My 300c has the same symptoms. But it's the immobilizer key. Can it be repaired in the same way?
Sorry I don't know. If you can open the key and it looks the same inside then maybe. But I am not familiar with that type of key so can't say for sure. Good luck.

Would this be the same as a 2005?
You know I am not sure how far back it would go, but I suspect it's similar. I know they did not make a lot of design changes until 2009 so it's probably a good bet.
Was you able to start the car with the keypad not working?
Sorry for not getting back sooner. Yes I was still able to start the car when the keypad was not working.

I honestly do not know. My guess is no it would not cause any performance issues, but that is just and educated guess. The key on the 2007 is not a true fob...it is still a mechanical key that could be copied using traditional key duplication methods.

I was called to another garage to fix a 2005 300c chrysler with a v6 engine and an automatic transmission. The problems they noticed with the car was Hard or no start, no throttle response,battery and ESP light remaining ON, most times immediate stalling after starting however, if it doesn't stall there's a rough idle throughout idling as a result an old PCM was replaced with a new one however problem still persisted.
I did all system scan and saw a P0340, P2167, P2166, P2115, P2116, p0603 and more module codes like C2202, U0168, U1414, B1A25, etc.
Only DTC scan I got p0403, p0403, p0340, p0052, p0058
Please, how can I fix these problems?
The major problem is that whenever the red round light probably, the security light, if it remains ON, the car won't start at all however even if it does start by chance, the car would definitely stall immediately.
On the otherhand , if the red perhaps security light blinks and battery light goes off, it will have only hard starting but would definitely start. Firstly, how can I fix the security issue? The client said: "he doesn't want anything security in the car anymore." How should I proceed to disabling that security completely? It's because of that that made the engineer encourage them to get a new ECU.
Please🙏, help me with the repair procedure and also wiring diagram showing power distribution layout identification for the engine bay and rear fuses.

Please, can you also provide me with the engine bay and rear fuses description for the car? The reason for that is, when testing the rear fuses with a testlight connected to ground without the ignition turned to Acc position that's fuse 31 precisely, it lit the testlight though however, relay number 21 actuated. Thus, I pulled it out and check the relay circuit and noticed this 👇. What could be responsible for that; and could it be responsible for the flashing and steady security light?
In addition, is there a guide to fix the security problem or even disabling it?
