Thank you so much for this video... both of my keys were broken and the dealership wanted $200 each for new ones. I watched your video, soldered both keys and that did the job... they are working like a charm and saving me $400. WOOHOO HAPPY DAY HAPPY DAY!!!!!
I can hear the alarm going off at the end...too funny...The Dealership guy used a battery operated soldering iron and hit the contacts on the BOTTOM of the board and it worked for a cpl months but he SHOULD have done it this way because those contacts are the REAL problem, not on the bottom. Don't waste your money if you don't have to. I got two totally new keys because I wanted the new style flip out key and will program them myself because I have both original keys and can get them cut anywhere. Cost me about $40 for two of them..

I did this to my fob but i cant get it to work (lock/unlock) even after i long pressed both buttons, please help
Would that being broke stop it from starting? Or just from the buttons operating

Where did you get the flip style keys from? Did you end up liking them?
