CDT 2022 Day 76

My mom and dog hike north from Berthoud Pass with Left Overs and I to see us off before heading back to Illinois. Shortly after Left Overs and I reach the ridge line the storm comes back and lightening strikes the ground between us. We bolted back for the trees and waited the storm out, hiking out in the evening instead.

wow good on you guys for heading back up when the storm was over, that isn't easy to do. And what a reward. :) I'm wondering if you went the high route or dropped down after Flora? I'll find out, I guess! :)

I just red lined it. It was terrifying when it became dark dark and all snow
