    I know a man that is translating a 17 volume tafsir of Quran written by Scholar from Ethiopia. I saw that tafsir in the Library of Medina! The man that is translating the tafsir said to me the tafsir is so deep that he often has to stop translating and return to it another day!

      Translating a 17volume taf seer isn’t wise according to many scholars

    • @talibunajat8178

      I’m black myself don’t get me wrong
      A tafseer of that depth isn’t meant for the common folks. Secondly , instead of that a person should rather learn Arabic than go through a 17volume tafseer. Muslims should learn Arabic and not just rely on translations

    Very well said! Our scholarship InshaAllah, will destroy their racist discriminatory practices and narratives fid Dunya and Allah swta will sort them out in the Akhira for their bad practice of the Din.

      The book which he's talking about is call " The itineraries of Paradise" (مسا لك الجنان). You can find the written version in Arabic, Wolof, French, and in English.

      I think you must get confused with another one. Because the Sheikh whom he's talking about passed away in 1927, and in that year, there were no cameras and videos (to my knowledge, in Senegal).

    What is he talking about. Racism or Quran and Sunnah? As a black man, we should stop playing victims. Going around digging what some racist scholars said about black people ( a tiny minority) . What about the scholars who didn't say anything or said good things about black people. Let's concentrate on what Islam teaches, not what individual people say or do. I want to listen to the details of a scholars work based on Quran and sunnah. Not a book talking about racism. Every scholar now wants to create a separate platform for themselves. Clout chasing. Causing more divisions than unity. It doesn't matter what race you are, if your work is not based on Quran and Sunnah, it will surely be rejected.

      Racism goes against the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Shaytān was the the first racist. So ye, this talk is very much about the teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah. I dare you tell me otherwise!

    • @baysnyande3579
      @baysnyande3579 Před 3 měsíci +1

      I think you didn't ponder on the questions I raised and jumped straight into nationalism defensive mode. Let me repeat my questions. Who are these scholars he mentioned? How many people know them? Are they prominent scholars in Islam? Do their opinions about race backed by Quran and Sunnah? Are they an authority on Islam? What did the prophet said about racism?

    • @A.Quddus493
      @A.Quddus493 Před 3 měsíci

      @@baysnyande3579 You raised non of those questions in your original comment. Yes, some of the scholars are prominent. He mentions the name of one or two just as an example. I’m no black nationalist, and I have high regard for the ulema. But your comment of “a tiny majority” is empty and baseless. Try reading the book he wrote citing these works and scholars in detail before criticizing his work.

    • @baysnyande3579
      @baysnyande3579 Před 3 měsíci

      Are those scholars hujjah on us? Their opinions about race is irrelevant. Is their racism part of Islam or individual bias? If it is not, then case close. I guess, it makes some people good or maybe pandering to a certain demographic

  • @talibunajat8178
