Racism is raceless and hails from the conservatives of every race. It’s rooted to the intolerance of those outside ones individual racial likeness. Individualism sources conservatism..
Liberal Jews, Christians, Mulslims, Ath/Ags etc don’t butcher themselves or others, but conservative ones do.
Harming others for individual gain and likeness is individualistic as caring for others is collective...

Don't change the white man's mind-you can't change his mind, and that whole thing about appealing to the moral conscience of America-America's conscience is bankrupt. She lost all conscience a long time ago. Uncle Sam has no conscience. They don't know what morals are. They don't try and eliminate an evil because it's evil, or because it's illegal, or because it's immoral; they eliminate it only when it threatens their existence. So you're wasting your time appealing to the moral conscience of a bankrupt man like Uncle Sam. If he had a conscience, he'd straighten this thing out with no more pressure being put upon him. So it is not necessary to change the white man's mind.

I’m tired of hearing Muslims say “I’m not a racist, I’m a Muslim, Bilal our first Muazzin was black” this is the same if not worse than saying “I’m not a racist, I have black friends”. Both statements do not exonerate you from racist acts or beliefs. I pray everyday that the ummah is purified because racism is rife in Islam, from masjids only for certain ethnic groups; from asking a person who is darker than you wether they are a revert or convert- I mean why is this important if they are Muslim. From not responding to the Salam of a person darker than you or not from your ethnic group; from preventing young Muslims from marrying because they are not from the same caste or race; from not allowing imams of a different colour in your masjid to lead prayers; to treating others badly in your country for being maids or labourers. Subhanallah this is not ignorance it is racism and to pretend it is ignorance only encourages those who act this way not to change because they act on the knowledge that people of a dark complexion are inferior to them and thus should be treated different. This is fact because they have the knowledge as did Iblis when he chose not to bow or show respect to Adam - Iblis had the knowledge of Adam and how he was created. The same way racist have the knowledge of how darker people are treated and live in this duniya.

I often hear from the Indian Muslim community how because I was not born into the faith, but willingly chose Islam, that I was somehow better than them. However when it comes to marrying one of their daughters, you hear every excuses in the book. Even though i am active in the Muslim community. And you get treated according to your skin tone to. So it happens even amongst my people as well. If I was not fully grounded in Islam it would have driven me away from this wonderful way of life. My plan however is to find a very nice black or white sister for marriage, to be active in that community with me. That should steam their buns! Any takers?

Dang this is heart breaking. Words like these hurt harder than knives. Please keep talking about your experience so more and more people realize how disgusting it is. People want to pretend racism doesn’t exist in our societies and when it is never exposed, ideas like these are deemed acceptable.

Masha’Allah you are a very good person for being kind to the bigot. And I’m very proud of your awareness and knowledge of Islam and how it frowns upon racism. Muhammad (PBUH) was the fist recorded anti-racist in human history. I’m an Arab and hate bigotry and racism to my very core. God bless everyone!

There is anti-black racism among Muslims but it’s wrong to just blame it on Arabs. It also exists among African groups like Somalis and Tuareg.

As a muslim of indian ethnicity, I can confirm that there is anti-black racism among indian muslims and pakistani muslims(more specifically the desi community)
It's not all indians and pakistanis but it's still here and I will always fight against it

Humans will always be humans. And our fears and need for belonging will cause us to exclude and make assumptions about those who look different. When we stay silent, it becomes more difficult to overcome our barriers. It's important to speak up for yourself and for others, respectfully and with integrity.

Amazing brother!! Ma sha Allah. You spoke so well and your intelligence, subhanallah is mind-blowing when it comes to Islam and your stand in this world as a black muslim. The world needs leaders like you. Arabian countries, especially, need leaders like you. Because from my personal perspective, contrary to how Islam honors people of all race and color, they don't actually follow well. Especially when it comes to women, the amount of Jahliya actually came as a shock to me when I first recognised it. You are so right that the so called 'whites' just because they got a little less melanin (that's all that it is to it) in them, they think they're superior than the others. And the worst thing is that when matters come to light, they agree that yes! Islam is against racism! But how are they displaying it with their actions? In case of marriages and finding suitors, these kind of thoughts on standing against looks and ethnicity, they don't think about Islam then. There was a time that when I thought about such matters as I was inspired by those Hollywood celebrities and everything but Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Allah (swt) guided me --and I pray that he continues to guide me-- and now I'm clear of such ideas, especially watching my beloved ones be the target of racism and judgement in looks and other artificial things that will benifit nobody. I pray that Allah (swt) rids this world of racism and clears ignorance, not just in the minds of disbelievers but also muslims, for the masters need to be first dealt from within.
Also, if anybody's interested to know about Islam's true teachings, check out the Instagram page @knowtrueislamfirst, where we can learn the true essence of Islam.

Such a sad state of affairs we subject our black brothers to in our communities. I also feel like platforms need to do more and give our fellow muslim brothers a space to talk about more than race or a 'black' topic like Islam in Africa etc. We really do our brothers a disservice, they have so much to contribute on deen related topics but are just seen as an option for one genre
