Unfortunately, I have gay attractions but I’m doing my best to repent and turn from that lifestyle and people who promote it. I accepted Christ as my Savior and I want to be with Him in eternity. Even when I was in the lifestyle, I opposed same sex marriage and civil unions. Deep down it just never seemed right and I pray that The Holy Spirit keeps convicting me of my sins and I pray that when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Personal Savior, that He sealed me and entered my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. It’s a struggle and I pray everyday for greater understanding and greater love and faith in God through Christ Jesus. Please pray for me. Please! 🙏✝️
I remember a bishop saying something like this: “tolerance is not a Christian value. Prudence, justice, fortitude, temperance, faith, hope, charity-these are Christian virtues. Tolerance in the face of evil is itself a kind of evil.”
People nowadays often confuse the definition of tolerance, they seem to think you must agree with someone in order to be tolerant, but this is not tolerance, the definition of tolerance is when we discover we disagree with someone our treatment of them doesn't change we disagree but still accept and respect each other as fellow human being, but we certainly don't have to agree to respect or love each other.
