Foundry VTT - Add on: Monk's Enhanced Journal - Making a Shop!

Foundry VTT is a virtual tabletop programme that allows you to run RPG games digitally, and virtually.
We've had a play with creating our first adventure, using on the basic functions available. Now it's time to look at some Add Ons (mods) to improve our game-scape.
In this video we look at a part of Monk's Enhanced Journal that allows us to create shops! Woohoo!

Fantastic feature! I’m adjusting all my shops today!
Do you know if there is an option to add a standard selection instead of adding all the seperate items by hand? (I see a few shop videos coming up in the list so it might have been added there).
Or maybe we can add supply template (like common weapons or common potions). That would be so good!

You can make a roll table to do exactly this, and then just reference to appropriate table whenever you create a shop. So a standard "Blacksmith", "tavern", etc. And as it's a roll table, you can get it to randomly select what's in stock on a given day/week. Let's say once per week they restock, so it'll add 1d6 new item from the list.

Hi! Very good work! For some reason, even when my module is downloaded and activated, the options when creating a journal entry don't change, as if there were no module installed. Do you know what could be causing this, and how I could make it work?

I think Monk's Enhanced Journal got a little broken with a later game update. I ended up moving to using Item Piles for my shops, as it just seemed a little nicer. czcams.com/video/mtnQUcR-7g4/video.html
