That's right! We have a new brand: the Colorado Watch Company

Colorado Watch Company is a sister brand to Vortic Watch Company, and we'll be making NEW watches right here in Fort Collins, Colorado. Don't worry. Vortic Watch Company will always make truly American-made wristwatches using antique American pocket watches, but since we can only make a few hundred watches each year, we're releasing a whole separate brand (same building) in order to make modern automatic wrist watches!
Our new Colorado Watch Company wristwatches will be smaller (40mm and 42mm), and they'll feature a modern automatic movement assembled by FTS in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Prototypes are shown in this video with a different brand, and they are ROUGH and initial prototypes, so please watch the video for the context and let us know what you think after you see the final prototypes upon our launch on the 26th.

What happens is you do not get to the 250k goal?
Technically, if we do not hit the goal, Kickstarter will refund all the money and the project will be cancelled. We do not see a path to that happening however as we’ve already almost reached the goal in just a couple of days and have a full 30 days on the campaign!
But there is no guarantee to get product. I’ve been burned multiple times so leery.
As long as we hit our $250,000 crowdfunding goal, we will produce these new watches! No risks here especially since you can visit our workshop here in Colorado anytime. Our doors are always open! While we totally understand your concern, our company is certainly a bit different than some others on crowdfunding platforms.
