Matt, I've had tinnitus for two years now & a trick that you can do throughout the day for instant relief is to cup your hands over your ears, creating a suction. Next, while still cupping your ears, place your hands on the back of your head. Place your middle fingers on the ridge, located at the base of your head. Take your index fingers & tap them both at the same time for 20 reps. This provides instant, temporary relief. It can also help to turn down the volume of the tinnitus as well. I hope this helps!

Kayla, please take a page out of Matt’s book on how to approach dogs. Always let them sniff your hand first, don’t just reach your hand up over their head or stick your face in their face like that. That’s a good way to get bit by even normally non aggressive dogs. Especially in a setting where there is a lot of new people walking up to their territory and noise and commotion.

Ever since my daughter was little my aunt who was an o r managing RN told me to have a brown paper bag fold it and put it against your sternum and you won't get car sick no matter how long you drive or ride in a car my daughter is now 45 and it has worked extremely well for many many years

Last weekend I found (4) 5 pc place settings of Fire King dishes brand new NEVER USED in the original box. I’m so excited! Stickers still on every piece and no chips or scratches anywhere!

That's how we pronounce it up North here in Minnesota, too. Shaneel. I have a couple in totes downstairs, too. I gotta have a huge garage sale and sell some stuff! It's not doing anybody any good sitting in my basement! And as Matt would say, I have, "Trinkies for days"! You guys, Matt and Kayla, would love going through all the totes at my house. Lol!

I too, was going to make a comment on how to pronounce it. I've always known it as Shuh-NEAL or as above, "KNEEL", with the accent on the second syllable and a long "E" sound, (as opposed to the way that Coco Chanel "Shuh-nell", pronounces HER name) 😊 🤗

Matt, I’ve had tinnitus for years, and have been to many doctors, but always they tell me just to control the ringing by using noises at night, so I use a noise machine and it helps, but I always hear it. I really feel your pain about this aggravating problem. I enjoyed this road trip.

Fun tinnitus trick. Cup both ears with your palms, then rotate your hands so your fingers touch each other in the back of your head. Keeping your ears tightly covered with your palms, drum your fingers on the soft middle of the back of your head for 15 seconds. Then release. The first time I tried this I cried, because I never heard such silence!
But really, you and Matt need to get to a good Chiropractor and have your atlas adjusted. Dollar says it cures the car sickness too, also an inner ear problem.
I tried the cupping ear suggestion…… nothing. Still have high frequency sounds.

Matt, I’m sure you have probably researched everything regarding your tinnitus but I wanted to give you my two cents worth as a fellow sufferer or I can now say former sufferer because 15 years ago I had an ear infection that even after it cleared up, I was left with tinnitus. I saw a doctor and two different specialists and got no relief. I lived with it for 10 years and then a fellow nurse told me that giving up caffeine cured her husband’s tinnitus. I am embarrassed to say I really had to give this thought because I lived on caffeine via coffee and energy drinks. People used to joke about me hooking an IV up to myself full of coffee or Red Bull Ha ha ha 🤣 it was not easy , I had to deal with the headache you get from the caffeine withdrawals, but after a few days that went away, and after two weeks, I noticed that my tinnitus had become sporadic and not permanent and after two months it completely went away. I’m not saying this is a cure for everyone, but it really DID work for me. I have not had ringing in my ears in 10 years and my hearing actually improved so just wanted to pass that along. PS As a nurse, I feel obligated to add if you haven’t already , make sure you see a doctor to make sure your eardrum isn’t ruptured or damaged in someway that can be repaired 😊

I have sold these blankets for years. I even buy the ones with stains because people make pillows out of those. Also look for the vintage knitted bed covers they can go for BIG money if you find the right ones. Happy hunting.

I bought these wristbands that you wear that applies pressure on backside of your wrist to help you not get car sick. They are awesome. Put them on about 20 minutes before you leave.

Matt, try sleeping grounded for the tinnitus. You can buy grounding sheets. There are cheaper ways of doing it. It will help with inflammation and many other things.

Dude, if you tap at the base of skull repeatedly, an inch or so behind ear on the side the ringing is happening it'll make it stop. I get ringing from time to time and saw this on tv 25 yrs ago and it works for me. Hope it helps for you too!

The Wedgwood is Jasperware. It used to make good money but it featured on many antique shows and now the market is totally dead. You can pick it up for next to nothing now. It's sad because it is beautiful and shows some fabulous craftmanship

Looking at your phone is what is causing you to get car sick! Like when you said you were trying try edit and got sick… that is why. I used to get car sick so bad, it’s not nearly as bad now that I don’t look at my phone.

I have multiple pairs of Golden Goose and those are a dupe. I would recommend looking at poshmark for the real ones and comparing the ones you find to those. Remakes have gotten so good lately it’s hard to tell but the ones you got are different around the toe box. You can also remove the insoles and they will be stamped with a serial number but I have seen fakes with that too. I would just do your best when picking them but I bet most of them you find in the wild will be remakes.

I went garage saling and got a Kenneth Cole knee length puffer coat that retails at Macy's for $285 and it was new with tags for only $18. Nice thing was it IS my size and I wanted a nice dress coat.
At the hotel-- Micro-fridge just means they are attached to each other.
I enjoyed the things you bought on your road trip. It was nice that you were able to have a mini vacation. On 4th of July, I went to a local thrift store but only bought the 50% off items. Picked up a scratched black desk lamp. Already re-painted it gray. The lamp was $3. Had the paint from painting the top of my vintage desk. it looks great to me and maybe someone buying wouldn't think so. It will be a new addition in my room. You don't ever refinish furniture or anything which I am surprised at. It could expand your business.

Matt, I have had tinnitus for 15 years and I know how you feel. What has helped me the most is using hearing aids (I have hearing loss which is probably the cause of the tinnitus). My hearing aids have now been calibrated with a masking noise which has made my life SO much better. I hope you can get some relief. My audiologist has become one of my dearest friends!
