All new house builds should by enforceable law BE ONLY ALLOWED IF THEY HAVE green credentials in Pakistan! And as for existing houses, well rather than the government take an annual property tax it ought to enable a waiving of that to enforce home-owners to greenify their homes to at least the same value!
The last thing 'green homes' should be, is some kind of elitist exclusivism concept, because that doesn't and shouldn't work. Wealthy neighbourhood homes have not been spared in the California wildfires or climate changes. The air, land and water bodies are all interconnected and unbounded, so pollution generated in the smallest pocket will sooner or later will accumulate, travel on natural currents to land at the doorstep or right on top! of the most privileged of residential areas. Its just the way Nature works.
We are a very very long way off from designing a unifying 'smart integrated energy and pollution-control system' for the world! I mean we have already created space junk orbiting the earth and drifting away somewhere in the Universe(which will probably boomerang badly back to Earth one unsuspecting day!).
The more self-sustainable local environments are, the less leeway and maneuverability there is for government or private business corruption. You create a great deal more social equity ,more individual creativity without compromising social cohesion and a far far better practice of Islam.
Ecological living which we can now do with sophisticated technology is imperative to Islamic practice. The best form of ibadat because in harnessing the energies of Nature WITHOUT causing abuse/overuse and wasteage /spoilage , we are intelligently paying homage, giving our appreciation and respect to Allah's creations. Our recognition of Allah's Power becomes more profound, more trusting ,more unshakeable.

Everything is done so beautifully, I literally forgot I was watching something. I really wish now I would make like it myself for my own house.. I literally forgot that it took my whole hour... I can watch it again and again, like a favorite movie.. the works are done beautiful.. I am just wondering about that glass doors and windows... Ammazzzzing.. literally.. so nicely done.. I don't know how much I'm gonna say it now but worth praising every detail.. the open privacy factor the terace and roof garden.. and those courtyards and the main thing was THAT FEATURE KITCHEN (it took my breath away).. Brilliant loved it. We need a house designed for solar power ground up. The solar panels need to be integrated into the house rather than looking ugly left on the roof.

An amazing piece of art..... not only for its unique construction but fo its high demanding price......the worth of this house is not more than a half million dollars...... not fair for demanding such a big amount for such kind of house..... if u guys really want to sell this on yoyur own conditions then say something like that...... there is no other house in the country which has so beautiful view of sunrise. and sunset....... the vegetables are much healthy and fresh on the top roof of this house only because of the rays of sun and moonlight showers from an angle which is only possible by using micro constructing method and gravitational enforcement technology used for the first time in pakistan . etc etc..... then may be.....

Amazing interior design work but the facade seems sort of bland. I believe when there a lot of wall glazing, its hard to achieve any design or identity for exterior. Although you could still play around with geometric forms.
Red wall of the ground floor kitchen honestly seems out of place....! Just a question to the TEKA Guys, how does this water heating system work during winter foggy season when there's no sun in Lahore for weeks?

But in other countries salaries are not that high to afford large mansions , people in government services have to content with small apartments or duplexes at the max. How much money are these guys making , points to disproportionate salaries or massive corruption

nice, but architects have not adopted anything from local heritage and cultures in design, real innovation comes when we can take best of what we learnt from western education but then be humble enough to incorporate tradition and traditional designs that were efficient for local climate.
I don't find anything excceptional about this house, Whole roof is covered by solar pannels, not ample space in tiny garden for family get together which is the biggets OFF, Sofa's color combination is not synchronized.
Lot of glass invloved which is only suitable for houses with some pleasing outside view such as Beach Front's , Marina walk's etc. Not making sense on this location.
There are thousand's of houses around Pakistan having solar pannel, Roof Kitchen Garden, Insulated roof etc.
Its just a western inspired design nothing new, applied at wrong location.
