- To some, the harshness of the Australian Outback is devoid of anything interesting, but for me, it is such a rich tapestry of experiences that it s hard to absorb in a single experience. This then is a summary of my first two day foray into the central heart of Australia.

Love this! You're right about the barren appearance, but it is so full of life when you get down in the nitty-gritty -- many hundreds of animals and reptiles call this place home, and the morning and evening photographic potential is breathtaking. The video has a wonderfully romantic twang to it, whispering of the fabled Tyranny of Distance, and nowhere is this more profound than the Australian outback. Packing the car very soon and hitting the road for Alice...
Thank you Gary for your feedback, it is appreciated and good luck with the drive to Alice. And a word of warning if I might. Do everything you can to avoid night driving north of Pimba. I pushed my luck and on three occasions only just missed hitting stock. Even at 70km/hr they are almost invisible. That said, I am waiting for delivery of a new German electric bike and in the next 12 month would like to do the same trip on the bike. Then I will get to experience all the natural beauty. Time will tell.
@@blokeonbike2591 No night driving, definitely not at all, or dawn/dusk! I will be on the road from 9am until 3pm, allowing me enough daylight to set up camp and get comfy! 😗
