Each Pear Cut Size in this video is compared to this 1 Carat Diamond on a hand with a size 6 finger. This 1-carat diamond at Kay Jewelers, like most Brick and Mortar jewelry stores, is about $22,700, and that is because it is very high quality. Now also, in this video, we take those diamonds and compare them to the exact same quality diamond from a website I will put in the description below this video. This 1-carat is $7,900, so you'd save over $14,800 from my link below this video.
First, let's start with a .33 or 1/3-carat pear diamond on the hand. Compared to a 1-carat pear-cut diamond it is very unimpressive and you can barely tell it is even a pear shape at this point. Why do all these pear diamonds seem so fat? They don't seem like the normal pear shape. I know pear diamonds can be longer and skinnier or shorter and wider. Did you happen to use short and wider ratios for all the diamonds in this video?
I have a feeling he made an error in the video. He said 7mm wide and 9 long but standard measurements (I believe) are length x width. I could be wrong but that would explain the fat looking pear.
