My absolute favorite is the asscher cut!! I don't know why, but I've never liked rounds. Maybe because they're too prevalent. I like more unique shapes.
I think maybe that’s why I’m also not drawn to round cut. EEEEEVERYBODY has one. LOL! But that are absolutely stunning in the tulip setting.

I love the princess cut and the emerald is growing on me too. I prefer the mirror look to the shiny radiant one! Glad to know that those shapes are naturally flattering on my shorter, chubbier finger. I definitely felt it when I tried one on.

I remeber in the 90 s trying on an elongated radiant with the step princess cuts on the sides. Looked horrible on. I had a huge 3+ ct size aquamarine in emerald cut with smaller side aquamarine emerald cuts on side as a three stone. It looked really good, so I am going with an emerald cut. Question Bonnie, I have the small squatty fingers snd longer palm, if I did a solitaire emerald cut would it look better as an east west setting? I am confused. Ps I also dont do my nails as Im a nurse 😂ps 2 my heart totally gets the feels when the emerald cut is east west set. Is that itself an indicator of the right way to set it? My biggest fear is that if I do a large solitaire emerald cut set east west and bezel ( my dream) that it will look more like a Superbowl or 80s style mens ring 😂
