Quick correction, these actually had a 6.5L Detroit diesel engine in them. The Hummer H1 Alpha was the only one that used the 6.6L Duramax out of the factory.
Detroit diesels 🤮. People think they are amazing but damn they are shit. All they do is make a wack load of noise, smoke and go no where. So nice to see when people duramax or Cummins swap a h1.

@@Ottienger I beg to differ. the 6.5 we own in our 94 gmc has more umph than our 04 cummins.

@@Ottienger but they were reliable! That’s why the military used the non turbo 6.5 to start with . Very slow and not a lot of horsepower and torque. Easy to work on !

I just want to say I’ve watched a lot a lot of your videos and I have to say that I do enjoy watching you detail the cars but my favorite part of your videos is the songs you choose and even though you use the same songs over and over and over I love them so never change that lol I love the songs so much. During TV coverage of the first Gulf war, many off road guys saw how well these trucks performed in the affected areas. They started calling the Army asking, "Dude, where can I get one of those?" AM General caved to the request in 1992. Its designation is HMMWV, for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.

I enjoy watching your detailing, I learn a lot of tips for around the house in general cleaning! The one thing I’d like to know is, your iron/rust remover, I have those old heavy metal heat grates along the baseboards, (in the house), I’ve noticed the bathroom grate has rust coming through the paint, would your product work to remove it? That apc is pretty crazy. Only cleaner I've used with a similar reaction on tires is old school Wesley's whitewall before they changed the formula

What kind of sprayer you use - to spray extreme APC ? it has a really good mist spray area.
I noticed on several videos he uses a 1 gallon RoundUp sprayer.

Um question is it really okay to pressure wash the engine I thought it was a bad thing and you have to use a weak garden hose and also before wetting it, you brush and a vacuum the dirt. I dunno just got curious. I just happened to watch one of Chrisfix's videos about cleaning engine bays

Do you go through the clay lube really fast? I typically just use soap that I have leftover from the hand wash because I already have it there and I don't want to just whip through product when spraying the whole car with clay lube. Hope that makes sense lol
I just prefer to use a clay lube. Our clay lube is extremely dilatable.

did you not prep the surface before coating?
It’s not a coatings it’s just a spray sealant. If I were to use any type of ipa spray it would of just oxides back. There was absolutely no paint left on this hummer.
