Hi! new question I saw asked by someone somewhere else but it was never answered. It doesn’t fully apply to me but I do seem to leak a lot myself. “I’m 3 weeks post op. I’ve been doing the kegels regularly. The only way I can prevent leakage is to hold a kegel. So the question is: Do I have to consciously hold a kegel all day for the rest of my life? This seems near impossible. The moment I forget to hold the kegel I leak, Will it get better on its own without having to hold the kegel?” Thanks for all the great videos, they have been very helpful to me on my journey after my prostatectomy.

Hi there, thanks for your comment. If you are experiencing ongoing issues with incontinence, we would recommend that you seek support from a men's physiotherapist, who can tailor advise to your specific situation.

Hi Victoria, sorry I meant it as more of a general question, just trying to understand fully how the pelvic floor works with kegals and continence. It’s very difficult finding information on the web
