- In this video we will be unboxing and Review the overall manufacturing of the
ARM Motorsports 7 inch Intercooler.
We will not only be taking a close look at the Intercooler, but we are also going to be taking a look at the weldings, we will be measuring the density of the fins, and we are going to address this whole bottleneck misconception.
On a follow-up video we are going to be doing the installation of the 7 inch intercooler and will be checking out the intercoolers efficiency by logging some temperatures. Stay tuned for those Videos 😁

Very good review!
I went with the 7in fmic from CTS TURBO. The end tanks are flawless with no bottleneck type shape. I got on BLACK FRIDAY sale for 350$ with tax like 400$. Althoughy it’s heavy cause bar/plate style , it looks heavy duty. Hoping to hit that 400hp

Which turbo kit is that one?
I'm running a 5 inch with a stepped top on my 17t n54 car. It's pushing so much air through the intercooler that it's almost impossible to make the ARM motorsports 45 degree Silicone coupler going to the charge pipe not leak! It bulges the 45 degree coupler out at the sides and no matter how much I tighten the clamps it still is blowing out the edges. It seems impossible as I have the most expensive clamps on it and tighten them to the max (I've even broken a couple of them trying to tighten it enough. So if I have an even larger intercooler it would be pushing even more boost through and I don't know if the charge pipe (ARM Brand Charge Pipe with Tial BOV) could take it?? But maybe because it's a larger size it would work better. I''m going to look into the 7 inch I think! LOL.
Have anyone ever use this Arm 7 inch IC? I have a 535xi 2008 and really want to get this and any other additional information
I have this installed on my 2010 BMW 335i e90. And so far its great. Temps don't raise much after a couple of runs. I am not 100% sure if it will fit your 535xi though. Best thing would be to give them a call to make sure. As far as the efficiency, and the over all product, I am definitely happy with it.

What’s the IAT ratio to outside air temp?
It's Roughly 15 to 20 degrees over outside temps. Here in south florida it get hot as heck. I have seen the intake temps go up fast when parked do to heat soak. But as soon as the car starts moving you can see temps go down quick. I'm pretty happy with the results. It's a big difference over the stock intercooler.
If MHD ST2 how much degree?
I'm hoping to install my down pipes this weekend, I have been wanting to for the past 3 weeks but it's been raining like crazy here (raining season) rains everyday. Then plugs and coils and finally tune it. I'm planning to run some lugs to get some actual data when its tuned, as well as get it dyno. So far I haven't seen much of a change when doing back to back pulls. Yet I know a true test is when its tuned.
