I've hit 279 e and IS7 turrets with the HEAT Jpz E100 and penned them easily but also only tracked an AMX 13 light tank, that moment when your shell is heavier than the tank you hit and it doesn't pen.
Heat isn't always better. People should learn that
@@Archanox I know how it works, but when you see 279e face to face and on the same terrain level only a fool would fire AP on it, but on the light tank case it was a glimpse didn't have enough time to use intuition.
@@vovochen an Angeled upper plate or turret for 279e or is7 easy to be pened by t10 tDs from 370 to 700 effective armour how many tDs has that much pen other than the jagroo or 268 ? I remember I took a direct hit on that 420 HEAT from the Jagero and did 0 damage it hits my gun and destroyed it but didn't received any damage in my T-54 Lightweight

8 HE on Jagdpanzer, 10 HE on 60TP. Thats a big Quickybaby moment right there.
What’s the problem with that?
You will never use 10 or 8 HE Shells in big caliber tanks. There is just not enough tanks per match wich you can deal reliable damage to. So using all of those HE Shells, drastically cuts his potential damage. Wich then means that he has to use more Gold Shells as well, since his normal Shells are cut short due to his high quantity of HE. Something that our dear Saint really doesn't like.
@@novacoocey3975 honestly with the jagpanzer you could also use less heat, how often do you really need more than 299mm of pen especially when it does 1000 damage a shot, id probably take like 4 he 6 heat and the rest standard.

On my jgpz I'm using accuracy module, ventilation and turning mechanizm to max out my accuracy. Thanks to all of this and field modifications. I can reach 0.26 accuracy. :)

I remember taking a JP E100 HEAT shell to the tires on my EBR 105, 4 tires dead no dmg taken.

Gun rammer discourse is the same as DPM vs alpha discourse. If your tank is gonna get 'stuck in' - the ridgeline warriors, the continual snipers, the flanking mediums, etc. - then DPM matter a lot, and a gun rammer is worth it. Otherwise, if you are *not* often sitting in front of enemies, waiting around for your next shell to load, then you don't need it.

Well, no. Without a gun rammer you just flat out lose DPM, no matter what your alpha is. A gun rammer is the one equipment you always pick, unless maybe on a light.
@@johnnykotletti4614 / Jacob; the DPM figure is simply rate-of-fire * alpha. This assumes that you are firing continuously during that 'minute'. So, if you are playing a particular tank (and/or often find yourself in particular situations) where you're *not* firing continuously, then DPM matters less and other stats can matter a lot more. Now, watch the above video again, and try to find any moment where having a slightly higher rate-of-fire for either TD would've made a significant difference. I didn't see one - QB would've had the same damage output, the same health-pool, all while playing without some other piece of equipment that probably made a significant difference, like a turbo. TLDR; The DPM stat only matters if you're often firing continuously for a long duration. Thus, anything that increases that stat (like the gun rammer) only matters in those particular instances.

Good to see the 'Ol Deathstar back in action. Long before the FV the 183 would strike fear into the enemy team before the game even started, the 183 is still the better tank all around unlike that obnoxious FV and it's shell costs lol.

I have vents, rammer and turbo on my JGPz E100. Got a Tier 3 Ace Tanker badge on it and 2nd MoE.

I hated the derp gun on the conway until i dropped the rammer and get the aiming module. I love it now and i dont really feel the increase loading time. It actually help me survive because i know that i must take my time and hide a bit more between shots. Also gives me practice for the fv4005.

Yeah, I managed to set the FV4005 at .32 dispersion and I took out the rammer and put all the field modifications that improves accuracy, I substantially increased the number of hits and penetrations, even the aiming time. It's beautiful.

I use a bond rammer only for my Strv103B. It boosts the dpm even more, and the vehicle is so accurate that you can afford a rammer instead of improved aiming or something. Also, when you whiff a shell, it doesnt matter that much.
yeah cos thats understandable cos the swedish cheese wedge is the most accurate tank in the game so it doesnt rly need any more accuracy

Got in a T10 game with my Mauschen a while ago. Managed to bounce 2 gold rounds by a Jagdpanzer E100, but got 2shot when he found the right spot to shoot.

QB what is your setup for the FV215b183? You never mentioned what the set up for this tank is. I see your reload speed is around mid 23 seconds. I have mine down to under 21.83 seconds which is useful when enemy are expecting a longer reload and come in to farm me.

I use a bounty gun rammer, but if I were to drop it, my loadout would likely be vents, improved rotation, and a bounty turbo
Is there any way to get the FV183 now? Since it was removed from the tech tree, I know I could work my way up to the FV4005 instead.
I got it for 10 million Credits in last year's Black Market... there were three tanks... The Death Star... the Type 59 G and one more... I could have rolled the dice and got the Type 59 G... but I have too many MTs that play the same... so I researched about FV183B as I am a new player... and immediately bought it... Don't play much on it... but there is a reason it's called The Death Star... and it has Armor on the Turret and sides... so way better than the FV4005...

In wot blitz those two tanks have less alpha than in pc, the jag has 800 average on ap while the 183 has 930 average on ap, still fun tho
to be fair i have not had big numbers from my fv215b 183 as often as i see in videos. my experience is getting more like 600 damage with a HESH round with a few luck shots doing around 1700 damage
being from warthunder, i do apreciate big caliber guns there and here, exept in warthunder HESH shells works as they would work in real life and you basically just need to hit anywhere on the enemy tank(exept some modern mbts like abrams) and oooh boy killing someone wih kv2 or fv4005 is a pure dopamine strike

I have to thank you for all the videos because I have learned a great deal from watching and listening to you. I love your playstyle, because I am somewhat aggressive myself. I just seem to get my arse kicked more than you do. I'm learning to keep my emotions under control and not let my excitement or anger interfere with my performance. I am pretty average in my wins and above average in my shots, I just need more consistency. Just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed all of your videos and it's a kick ass time that gives me great hope for my own abilities.

jag feels more inevitable on the receiving end because there is almost no way you wont get penned. I dont ever feel scared peeking fv4005 or fv215b 183 because i can probably block the shell or just tank for few hundred splash damage.

i understand not using the rammer, personally i don’t use it on some of my heavies because i feel as if the turbo is truly more effective

Only big gun td I play with a gun rammer is the T110E3 because you want to be constantly pressuring the enemy team.
I hate the accuracy, so I use hardening, turbo and improved aiming

On jp I use rammer vents and enhanced aiming
I triple marked my Jagero and I run the aiming device (or rotation mechanism on the 2nd loadout), rammer, and vents to maximize the gun. I tried a turbo but felt like it gained no benefit since the power to weight is just so bad on the jagero, it barely hits top speed on medium terrain and turbo didn't solve that. Also the durability mod to me was alright but I felt like it didn't give enough hitpoints to make much of a difference and as long as you play careful with your tracks you its unnecessary.

The Dora railway gun with an 800mm calibre weapon and seven tonne shells might be overpowered, still it's non playable but sitting just outside the steppes map behind the spawn.

I mean, you don't have to be pay to win in the FV4005 II or the FV215b 183. Your AP has 310 mm of pen (the highest pen in the game on standard ammo) and 1150 alfa.
