I used to close at Taco Bell’s on Friday and Saturday and this really is how it be. I used to get the “I love you! You’re the best!” And I’m like “okay your total is 18.74 at the second window.” 😂😂😂

I worked at Taco Bell for about 2 years and my favorite people by far to come through the drive thru at night were the stoners. Their heart swells with something as simple as a quesadilla at 3am. They would say stuff like, “Y’know, I really appreciate you,” “You just made my night,” or just straight up say “I love you.” Plus they would just sit there and talk with you if there weren’t other people in the drive thru. It was strangely wholesome.
