Some useful tips
- Planning is important if you want to obtain good results. Review the manual and plan your work.
- Check the colour list you will need, no matter what the brand is. If you can mix colours instead buying new ones do it.
- Using Blu-Tack to fix small part is really helpful. Once they are in desired position glue them.
- Mask with masking tape the parts you don't want to paint. Use same technique to camouflage pattern.
- Once is dried remove carefully the masking tape.
- Use tweezers to deal with small pieces.
- Use wet brush to apply decals to model.

Thanks for this great observation. The secret is after 2 - 3 gloss varnish layers polish with 3000 sandpaper and then polish with polish paste. By the way enjoy the building, I'm sure you'll have as great results as mine.
I don't think I have ever seen a red as RED as this one - marvelous job!

Pablo... I have been watching model builders on CZcams for the last 3 and a half years and I have to say THIS build is by FAR the best I’ve seen in that time! How you don’t have 100k subscribers is beyond me! Maybe if you
re-edited this build to 3-10mins videos instead of 1-30min video, CZcams may feature it in people’s suggested videos. Cause like I said, I’ve been watching AND searching for good model builders to watch and I’ve NEVER seen your channel! I find that very strange. I watch Tom at “The Scalemodeler” and Chris on “HPI Workshop” all the time... hell, I’ve watched ALL there videos at LEAST 3 times apiece just in case I miss something. I sure with you did more cars but I’m subscribed now so hopefully you’ll feature more car builds in the future. Thank you for showing your talent! It’s really SOMETHING to watch!.... Jesus! This project is more elaborated than doing the real car!👌😂👍beautiful job! By the way! All beetles didn’t come from the factory with coil springs suspension! They all came with torsion bar suspension. That was more like a after market upgrade!

Pablo, I tried to edit my last comment but I couldn't get it to 'save'. It might have saved, but I did not see it. Anyway, I wanted to tell you the paint job you laid down is the best I've ever seen. Even after it had dried, the paint was so glassy, it appeared wet. Superb!

Nice work but there are no springs on the shock absorbers on beetle they have torsion spring front and rear on this chassis

Oh god...please 😣 ‘66 käfer have no spring coil🤦🏻♂️ no one have until 1302 and 1303, and then they are on the front suspension, but never on rear drivetrain

WOW What an amazing job, What is the Tool you used to put the head lights and lens in ??
Its a wax pencil, you can buy in many hobby stores or you can use a simple candle with well shaped tip 🕯 🤫😄
Very good video and easy to follow with a great soundtrack. Very inspiring. I haven't built a car model in many years; I usually build WWII armour.
I spray only Tamiya acrylics with my airbrush. Is there a good clearcoat finish that comes in a spray can instead of mixing two parts as you did?

Regarding coating layer, there many options, till now this is the best I've used. In next modelkits I will go with Mr. Color GX Super Clear III, I've seen tutorials of master and this product looks promising. About spray can, personally a don't like using theme, are quite tricky to apply and be accurate but anyways depends on your ability.

Yes it works well! I’m not chemical specialist but glue makes well reaction melting and sticking lacquer, paint and plastic 👍🏾
I have everything, the model, the tools but I don't have an airbrush and tamiya paints
You can paint with other paint brands but no deal if you have no airbrush.
Just have fun. I don't have access to an airbrush either.
You could go the route of doing a really weatherbeaten old car. Really thinned out acrylic paint with a broad brush would give a good result.
The paint would no longer look polished, but even dirty and rusted.

Tamiya spray cans will do a very good job, not as good as here but good nonetheless
2:16 I am a beginner in model making. How do you glue the wooden sticks to the model? Simple scotch tape?
Using blu-tack you can stick holders to manipulate and then remove easily 👍🏾

Nice build.........Distilled water is a total CZcams myth. It makes absolutely no difference.
depends on tap water you have and calcium level, but yes normally makes no difference.

Why you paint the chrome parts with horrible chrome paint?
When I cut the chromed pars from the frame and removed molde excesses the original chrome was damaged and I had to paint again. It id so difficult to get a really chromed finish by painting with acrylics paint 😒
Also, priming with gloss black and then spraying with a high-quality chrome finish looks better than the 'chrome' parts in the kit.
They shout 'plastic' chrome, I think. Well done!
