Reason #1: Defrost timer: This part controls the defrost cycle of the refrigerator. If the refrigerator isn’t defrosting, the defrost timer could have failed.
Hit that Subscribe button now and make sure the Notifications are ON.
Reason #2: Defrost Thermostat: This is a safety device that shuts off the defrost cycle if the freezer gets too warm. If the defrost thermostat isn’t working properly, this device could be stopping the freezer from defrosting correctly.
Reason #3: Defrost heater: During the defrost cycle the defrost heater heats up to melt the ice off the evaporator. If the freezer isn’t defrosting correctly, the defrost heater may not be working and need to be tested.
Reason #4: Defrost temperature sensor: The defrost temperature sensor tells the control board the temperature during the defrost cycle. If this part is failing, it could completely stop the refrigerator from defrosting.
Reason #5: Defrost Thermal Fuse: If the freezer temperature gets too hot, then the defrost thermal fuse shuts off the defrost cycle. If the freezer isn’t defrosting, the fuse could have failed.
Reason #6: Defrost Control Board: This control board runs the defrost cycle of the refrigerator. Find the test sheet that came with your refrigerator to test the defrost control board. If the control board doesn’t test correctly, it may need to be replaced

My Kitchenaid fridge and freezer compartments are not getting cold. I replaced the power relay switch already. Compressor, fans and capacitor are working. Within 5 mins of the compressor turning on, ice starts building up on the evaporator tube where it connects with the capillary tube. Do I have a blockage or restriction there and if so how do I fix it? If not what else could it be?
Can I change the time when my whirlpool refrigerator defrosts (WBB322DMBM00)?
I have a French door-type Maytag refrigerator, the problem is that it starts making ice normally after about 15 days the ice begins to make balls together, that is, all the ice sticks on the tray and the ice no longer packs, because they are stuck I went in yes, by removing the ice manually, it returns to produce normal ice but after 15 days it does the same again .. I already changed the new ice maker, only the pure ice maker and the problem persists .. the question is why it is happening That or what suggestion could you give me exactly?

Hi, what about double set of heaters? Could you point me to the webpage which one will fit defrost heaters for GE profile 20.7 CU feet no frost refrigerator model "tpx21prx, tpx21br?"? I couldn't read the last character of the model, find the serial or any other number. Thanks very much!
Thanks for sharing
You're welcome!
You are Awsome maybe you can do a quick video on putting a 3 door kitchenaid fridge in defrost mode. All other answers from different folks don’t make sense to me
Press and hold down the + and - buttons on the control panel for a few seconds and it will force a defrost.
I Need videos on the new R600 units.
7 year old fridge. I might as well get a new one rather than pay hundred for a repair that may or may not work. lol. Thanks for the video!
If you still can't figure it out roll it out back and fill it full of buck shot. They sure don't make them like they use to.
