I went back to this, as I’m in the middle of his book right now.
The ending of the podcast was indeed particularly powerful. I am inspired to try to get my students to use stories we read in a conversation, like he did with his children-as a way of showing mastery of the texts. Also, would love to see you do a CS Lewis school in Ireland. Apparently there are Chesterton schools in America.
And thanks again to your guest for his book! I highlighted a bunch today, that I could use in the classroom, most notably the map vs the landscape idea under “the purpose of literature” section.

Oh! Very excited about this. Thanks for doing this Mark.
Thank you, really, Paul. I took a dive after watching some of your videos about him. 🙏
Beautiful convo. Romance is definitely missing in modernity.
Looking forward to this interview, Marcas. You seem to find the most interesting guests.
Oh, I am VERY excited about this. Dr. Baxter is a favourite!
Fantastic, Autumn. I hope you enjoy!
He could be a good fit for an in-person gathering, next year. :)
The frequent posting of books, relevant books, in the frame is genius…..
33:00. …beauty moments….Wow!
Where in Arkansas is he from?
