You do have to bathe Persians every few months to remove mats and clean the skin.
I think cats need to be bathed at times lol
they don't always keep their fur cleaned all the way all the time xP

Beautiful video, I love how it is so moving. The silence along with cat's expressions and dramatic reactions makes it seem so tragic.
Other than the constant howling, that is the most patient bathing cat I have ever seen.
Sometimes when a mother is expectant and hormonal, something will tickle her so much that her laughter becomes an incoherent howl accompanied by streams of tears.

Aw, poor baby! It's obvious that you really love and care about Truman, the way you lovingly bathed and dried him. But that music tore me up! I had to turn the volume down to keep from crying.

dan...what i love is that your cat obviously doesnt want a bath....but it is a necessary evil....and though she/he is appearing to feel "tortured" you are handling her/him with the utmost gentleness and care...in addition, you have a great eye for editing and your choice of music was also very appropriate! nice job, simple, interesting and great ending......thanks for sharing!
That is one VERY fluffy cat.. and the camera work on this is awesome. The thing that is odd is that the cat doesn't try to jump out of the tub. Both of mine will try to the death to get out of the tub.
